It was the worst hostel we've ever stayed. I'm wondering if we even can call it 'hostel' - it's a flat with family living there all the time - "staff" of this hostel. The man is aggressive, smoking all the time in public area, and behave as he was drunk (what's probably as he was drinking beer after beer). Two bathrooms is definitely not enough for so many people and for lockers you have to pay 1euro each time you want to put sth into. Definitely we don't recommend this place.

I really liked the staff.. but not for a hostel. I mean, I guess when I booked the hostel I didnt expect to feel like in the middle of a family house, with children playing and skyping with the grandma in the reception. Its clean, they were very helpful.. but it was not my idea of a hostel, i felt like I didnt have privacy.

Jorge and his family were wonderful hosts and welcomed us into their home/hostel. I had a nasty cold when I checked in, and they were kind enough to offer me some home-cooked food and I felt very looked after. A nice quiet hostel, that's cheap and friendly, right in the centre of Madrid.

The woman working the weekend I was there (the weekend of nochevieja) was soo wonderful!! She cooked food for everyone to try and was very accomadating and friendly, she was the best part. BUT I have to say I was disapointed that there is no common room besides the kitchen because the hostal is so small AND I when I left the Hostal i now have 15 bug bites on my body, I looked it up and it seems they are bites from Bed Bugs! Gross. I really hope those nasty things didnt travel back home with me.

The location is perfect, ver close to the metro and 10 minutes to Puerta del Sol. The staff is very nice and it's a very warm atmosphere. Highly recommended

I was traveling with two female friends and we absolutely loved it! The people, the style, everything. It was absolutely an amazing experience. Everyone who was staying there was so much fun. George, the boss man, was extremely helpful and always trying to help us out. I totally reccomend Residencia Bulls. Complete knock out.

Do not stay here. Starting with secruity: The first night we left our room (a two bed private), we returned to find the light on in our room. We did not leave it on and felt unsettled someone had been in there. Secondly Staff: This is someone's personal appartment that they rent out rooms. They smoke in the apartment. Cleanliness: There is no soap in the bathrooms, and my self and my friend woke up with BEDBUGS. Very uncomfortable, and upsetting while you're travelling. Do not stay here!!

The building is a bit difficult to find since the streets are poorly marked, but we called the reception and they gave us directions, so that was helpful. It's a family owned hostel and their living room = the hostel's common room. It's a small hostel with basic amenities, but perfect for exploring Madrid on foot. Smoking is allowed (except in the rooms) so that could be a problem for non-smokers. Also, the staff do not speak English, but make up for it in kindness.

The only problem: we fulfilled the "arrive time" as 29/10 at midnight, but as for each day the reservations start normally at 12pm, we had to find another hotel for the first night (cause all the rooms were already full). But all the rest is perfect!

I took some pictures of bad conditions of rooms (and if you want i can give you them). Broken beds, dust piles on the floor, broken ceiling in cooking room... etc. In add to this, I remember that the corridor smelled like smoke. All the staff smoked in the hostel. That's a pity, because the hostel is situated in a good position, in perfect city center.

This is a really well placed hostel in the center of town, the metro is right beside it for easy access to anywhere, and the main streets and squares are within 5 mins walk. the staff were really helpful and made the stay really easy by pointing out things to do and taking the time to show them on a map. cheers for an awesome stay

We thought this hostel was really overpriced and squalid. It was like staying in a room in a slum. the beds are literally falling apart.
