Hostel was fine. Had 3 rooms on 3 nights but was our fault. Staff were really friendly- was VERY loud and the staff didn't do anything to quiten things down however. Overall- good spot and good atmosphere.

The"residence" is in fact a large flat. The owner and her family live in which makes the atmosphere a little less relaxed than in a regular hostel, but if you are looking forwarward to spendig a quite few days in Madrid it is ok. The location is relly excellent!

intimate hostel... like a big, big flat sharing thing. just about 9 2-bed-rooms, so it's very calm but very nice. it's more like hiring your own flat than staying in a hostel. i liked it very much.

We had an wonderful stay here. The owner was extremely nice and always willing to offer advice. The hostel was clean and in a great location. And although previous reviews noted it was under construction on the outside...this just wasn't an issue. It was neither dusty or too loud. We were surprised to receive our own bathroom, and the free internet was amazing. We definitely recommend staying here. It's a great price for the ammenities and hospitality you will receive.
