The only minus was that our room had a smell of cigarette smoke. The location is really good - just 10 minutes from many objects and 5 minutes from metro station.

Eveything was fine, especially the location couldn't be better. Yes as mentioned I could hear some noise from the streets but for that price I can not complain about that. As for the staff not everyone speaks english but the try to help. Anyway, I would definetely reccomend this Residencial for young travellers.

It's a budget hotel that's located not too far away from most of the things you'll want to see in Porto. It's not the greatest but it's definitely good enough to stay in if you're looking at a private room on a cheap budget. The staff are really friendly and the brunette girl who speaks English is pretty cute.

Thin windows, not double-glazed and room facing main street, there was a lot of noise from cars and people throughout the night and early morning. We hardly got any quality sleep! Also we went during a cold winter time and the electric radiators were not up to good standards to keep the room warm, in addition reception staff was switching mains off downstairs when the room was not occupied. All the rest was satisfactory, nice spacious room, great location, and basic economic eatable breakfas

A central location and friendly staff associated to a good price makes it a good value for money downtown Porto
