The place was nice. I got in a little early. The lady seemed annoyed and rubbed me the wrong way. That probably tarnished my overall impression of the place.

Quaint hostel run by a lovely little lady - although I overslept on my first morning there, she had left my breakfast out for me! She even haggled with the taxi driver to get me a good price for my ride to the bus station when I left. The hostel is located at walking distance of the main square. The facilities are kept impeccably clean. If you are not looking to party and want a nice, quiet place to stay in, this is the place to be.

A lovely place located in the beautiful old town of Trujillo. The room was decent and so was the bathroom. The kitchen was really nice and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite of language barriers. Sadly it got very noisy at night. Wether it was a dog barking (wich surprisingly lives at the hostel), a sheep bah-ing or a full blown salsa party next door on the weekends, so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

I had a very nice stay at Munay Wasi. The bed was comfortable and security was very good, and the staff very accommodating. The only problem was that the hot water in the showers did not work at all.

Our room as well as the security were fine. The bathroom and the kitchen were not kept very clean. Even though credit card payment was allowed not only by the owner of the hostel, but also by the signs posted at the entrance, cash was demanded of us by the daughter. We had no towels available to us upon our arrival and had to ask for them, after seeing the landlord giving them to other guests. The breakfast we had received here was the worst.

Nice accom. Info given on how to get to the local sights was very good. Rooms were comfortable but not many people there when i was. Would recommend.

good location in the centre of Trujillo. 30 mins bus ride to the beach, but this is rather crappy.

After only booking for one night I ended up staying four. Staff were extremely helpful and the location was very central. Only downside was it could be quite noisy at night, so if you're a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs.
