Other reviewers have complained about the bar downstairs -- we didn't mind so much. The music wasn't even audible from our room, mostly just the people out on the patio. But if you're there on vacation and you're going to party and have fun, then it's really not a problem. The location is great and the value is excellent. We only dealt with one staff person and she was very sweet.

Staff doesn't speak any languages a part of Portuguese. Noisy because just over a pub that performs live music every night. Rooms are nice but they don't get cleaned on a daily basis. Very central location in Cascais

It is clear that the Residential Parsi needs an update. The interior (walls, windows, electrical power points, bathroom) are quite run down and broken or worn. We stayed in the deluxe suite and had a room that was spacious with a great view. The hostel's profile should mention however that they're situated above a pub who play music until 3am and in a square that remains brightly lit. The curtains and windows do not block out noise or light. I would return for the great location and view only

For staying a night it was fine and comfortable, we had a private room and our own bathroom. There was not much else and it's above an Irish pub owned by the same owner which is pretty noisy at night, this didn't bother us but worth considering if you are planing to stay a long time or have trouble sleeping. The room was basic but sufficient. The staff varied, there were a few helpful and then a few who were not unfriendly but not really friendly either.
