It's very quiet and is located next to the Bus Terminal. So quite easy to find. The owner and his wife are very very kind and freindly and help you in any case

For each and sundry you have to pay additionally. Only 2 short showers allowed per paid night. No towels provided - or only for additional money. Laundry 800 Pesos per item?? If you are cought washing any laundry you pay 1000 Pesos per item. Common area very gloomy and dirty - however you are allowed to use guest fridge for free! pros: just over the street from bus station (good for early morning starts or late arrivals as well as local taxis). A lot of rules & regulations.”

It is expensive for a residential, because all the others in the street are cheaper. It is not an hostel as you can´t use the kitchen. There is no breakfast. All you want to eat you have to buy it in the residential.

Only stayed one night to recover from long bus journey. Hostel is right across the road from the bus terminal which is great. Owner is very friendly speaks great english and gives excellent intel about Arica.

This place was okay if you are staying for one night and would like to be near the bus station. The family that owns the hostel were very nice and helpful, but there are many rules about things you can't do - leave your bags, wash your clothes, take too many showers, etc., which are posted throughout the hostel. I understand these are posted because guets may have abused these priveleges in the past, but it makes it difficult to relax or feel at home with all the restrictions posted everywhere.

Location is primo!! But the description of the hostal made it seem more than it is... The bed was only 5'10 long and it felt squishy in the room, and I never have problems with space usually. Also the bathrooms weren't necessarily cleaned. We never saw that the bathrooms were cleaned over the three days we were there! But amazing people! Very kind and speak English!

Was great for our one night stop over in Arica because of the close proximity to the bus station, but if we were staying longer, we probably would have stayed closer to town. It's very basic, but clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast not included. Aldolfo was very accommodating and helpful.

Wow. This place is OUTSTANDING and a MUST STAY. It is an amazing little gem just across the road from the bus station (NO TAXI´s required!) The service and staff are hands down the best that I have encountered throughout all of South America. Aldolfo Rodriguez and his daughter Carolina are so warm, helpful, attentive and accommodating that it feels like a home rather than just another check-in / check-out. Aldolfo and Carolina SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH and are only too happy to assist you!
