Nice bright rooms, extremely friendly owner and very clean. Perfect if you want the beach or close to the bus station, but no so good if you plan to spend time in centre of town as its a long walk (40 minutes). Walls are paper thin, but cable TV in rooms is nice. PS. Chicken Johnnies up the road is great for roast chicken and chips!

this is not a hostel as such, more like a bed and breakfast, run by a lovely family with excellent english. it's really convenient for the bus stations (you can see the sign across the street from the national bus station) and maybe a 20 minute walk from the centre. they helped with what to do in arica, and even gave advice on getting to peru. the additional breakfast was nice too.

Beds were good and itīs close to the bus station. Itīs easy to walk to town. The guy was really helpful but the lady wasnīt so nice. My friend was in the middle of cooking in the kitchen (after being shown all the facilities) and then got told she was not allowed to use it. Later on they told her she had to pay. It was pretty unfair because there were no signs and you were supposed to use the kitchen for doing your dishes anyway.

Hard to find and not safe. Car was broken into while being parked outside. Otherwise, hostel was average.   Read Owner Comments
