Right in the centre of funchal, not far from the central bus station. Ideal for bus trips around the eastern part of Madeira and to the airport. Basic accomodation, fair prices, friendly staff, not too noisy late at night. If you´re not too fuzzy about some dark bits around the tiles of the bathroom this is certainly a good place to stay.

Very friendly staff. Great location. DO NOT TAKE A TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT, THEY´LL RIP YOU OFF!!! Take the Airport bus "Aeroporto", right in front of the exit door of the airport. The cost is 5 Euros and you can ask the stop for TAP office (the Official Portuguese airline). From there you can walk back, ignore the bunch of steps that will take you to the cathedral, continue to the next street where you will see some kind of stone arch in a small square and right there at the back is Zarco.

The staffs are very kind and nice. It would be better to provide a bigger rubbish bin. The light is not bright enough. And usually the wifi is not with good connection. And the toilet is smelly. But other than those everything is very good. Thanks!

Excellent for sleeping and no complaints otherwise. Location couldn't be better and everything works.

Cheap and perfectly located - that's what we were looking for. Things to complain: bathroom (really cramped with small sink) and breakfast with one slice of cheese and one jam. All in all, worth its price!
