Nice place to stay with some great local restaurant/cafes to eat at that is inexpensive and filling. Very close to the Carolina Michaels Metro station and walk into town down streets filled with many shops to keep you occupied until you hit the best of the hilly city.

Quite nice place especially when you plan to visit some of the summer parties on the beach (just hop on the bus 502 in front of the hotel).

Easy to get to from airport metro, but there is a stop closer than the one they suggest. Go one stop past Casa De Musica.

Loved staying here! Neat and clean rooms and all the little included bits like toiletries and towels were great. Excellent breakfast spread. Hosts were very accomodating and friendly. The only downside was the location. Not thoroughly inconvenient, but situated a bit of a distance from the Ribeira. I definitely plan to stay here again.
