Our family enjoyed the stay and feels thankful for the service given by the owner and the staff. The atmosphere is excellent and the place is very cozy.

everything was fine, not too far from town centre. Helpful staff. We were told the first night that we have to move to another location, bit of a pain, but the location turned out even better, For this price, worth it,

RESIDENZA CAMILLA IS IN THE CENTER OF ROME. residenza camilla is not a little bit far from the center.

If you are comming late ( after 10pm) you MUST pay extra money - it can cost 20 EUR, doesnt matter that we normally pay for that night!

When we arrived, Aldo, the owner, told us the previous visitor would have to stay an extra day because he lost his passport (yeah right). So, due to someone else's "problem" WE had to be moved the next day to another hotel for our 2nd night, and then back here for the 3rd night. He claimed it was at a nicer place (not really), closer to the center (we had a scooter, so no difference), etc..We had to check-out/move 3 times, and he still had the AUDACITY to charge us for the late check-in fee.

Highly recommended. We only had one problem, we were in a big room with all the facilities, but then they changed us on the last night with no other option to a room with no facilities like the other one. It was not fair with us, because we discovered this situation only when we made the check in. This made us very sad, but still is is a very good hostel.

No signboard to this place. Only a small sign at the door bell. In terms of security, a staff suddenly opened our room door without knocking. Staff was really friendly, offering us take-away and etc(at a price of course). Pipe was leaking at 11pm and a staff repaired it immediately. Good wifi and there's sky tv!
