This was not a "bad" hostel - there was nothing unpleasant, but I strain to find something I really liked about it. I like smaller, homier hostels where you come into contact with the owner and there is an atmosphere of shared living. These are more like apartments- no common room or joint space save for a computer room/kitchen with a kettle and coffee but no cooking facilities. But if you're coming with a group of friends and you want to spend all your time out exploring Rome this is perfect.

The Hostel itself was good. Staff was fairly friendly and the accommodations were clean. It was annoying that the kitchen was in a completely separate building and it was annoying to find the building itself. There is a very small plack on the wall of the building at like 8 ft high that you would never see if not looking. And I dont know why they state that the Legends Hostel and the Residenza Giustiani are separate because they are the operated by the same people. The beds were comfy though :)

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very homey and immaculate. Free computers to use in the lounge (with printer!). If you want pizza, get there early.

Good value for the money, great location if you want to be close to Termini (less than 5 min walk). Pizza at night wasn't AMAZING, but hey it's free, and there was plenty to eat. There's free wine as well! Only two things annoyed me: my towel (which I paid 2 euros for) smelled terrible, and they made us change rooms our last night. All in all it was a good hostel, I would definitely recommend. Computers available and the staff were super nice!

Residenza Giustiniani was a really great hostel. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The shower was clean, had good water pressure, and had enough hot water for five people to shower in the morning. The hostel takes security seriously, as there is always someone at reception, and there are multiple security cameras that watch the entrance and common areas. Note that Residenza Giustiniani is a part of Legends Hostel, and you had to check-in around the corner. Tiny bit tricky.

The staff here, particularly the males, were extremely useless. This is the same hostel as Legends Hostel in the adjacent building, which is where the kitchen is. You have to be buzzed in next door, but that staff member was NEVER at the desk, so you have to go track them down or go back and get the one key from your hostel. Lockout hours are way too early and long. The free dinner was mediocre, and gone quickly. Dorms were ok. Cool travelers here though. I would go for a cheaper place.

Very good hostel, although it is in a building and there's no boards indicating where it is, so write down the address. I've heard from other people that the free pizza had started before the time the hostel said. So I was there 20 minutes earlier (it was in another building). The guy opened the door for me, but he complained it was too early. But when I got in the kitchen, there was a lot of people waiting. And it is free pizza, so don't expect too much. But I was hungry, so it was delicious.
