Stayed in a private room with on suite, more than expected. More like a 3 star hotel. Highly recommended!

This hostel was an amazing surprise for us! We thought it was going to be difficult to find and we also thought that it wasn't going to have internet available....however, with the perfect directions and picture (i'd advise having on handy when arriving to venice) we were able to find it right away. Also, this hostel does have ethernet cords which worked great because we had a computer with us. The woman let us hold our luggage early and use the facilities before checking in. Great location :]

Initially, we thought that we'd be staying at the hostel at Santa Croce, but by arriving on place, we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered that we were relocated to another hostel near the Piazza San Marco.

The lady at the counter was very helpful & provided some tip on where to visit, eat and what to do. I checked out at around 10 am and she allowed me to keep my bag in their storage room F.O.C. I stayed in a four-bed mixed dorm. The room was very clean, lockers were provided, had TV, tea/coffee making facilities. The only wee bit of dissatisfaction I had was - wish they had WiFi and a bigger sign where the hostel was. It's hidden, next to the gelato stall. Overall, it was a good~!

I expected a 6 bed hostel, instead it was a 7 bed hostel with one toilet. No explanation from staff or reduction of price. With 7 beds there is a risk of an accident because the beds are too close together in the middle. I had difficulty finding the door. The location is excellent.

For people which brings a lot of luggage i´t´s a good option (located directly in the bus/ train station) Price is not so attractive (but in terms of Venice the price is not aobve from the other hotels in the same cathegory) Payment of extra 6 Euro (city tax for tourists) is not informed in advance - so pay attention before booking!! Room is safe but nevertheless don´t try to arrive too late back to the hotel (some rooms are located outside the main building - in such small ways) personal is ok

Loved the location once we got there - it was about a 15 minute walk and a 15 minute waterbus ride from the reception desk to our room but it was worth it for the location once we got there. My only small complaint is no wifi in the rooms only in the reception area and it was too out of the way to go back.

VERY VERY near the bus and train terminals of Venice. However, no WiFi only LAN connection in a room which closes at 10PM which makes internet inconvenient, but Venice is a one day stop, so it was not much of a hassle. Have to give it to the reception lady who was able to point out the main sights and places to eat even with her limited English. Clean and well-kept, place was quiet enough for a good night's sleep.

The staff is not so nice and the check in place is totally different from the living place. They didn't say this clearly on the website. I'm disappointed with this hostel, and I think it's the worst hostel I've ever lived in.

Stayed in a 6 person dorm where we had lockers. The location is great and easy to find, especially since its so close to the bus and train terminal so you don't have to walk around with heavy bags for a while. The ladies at the front desk were also very nice. And the bathrooms were cleaned every day. No complaints.

Excellent hostel- with very clean rooms and toilets. The only drawback was that the hostel is a bit far away from the main train station - and if you have a trolley bag, its a bit difficult to get till there because you have to cross 4 bridges on the way. However the hostel staff was very friendly and allowed us to keep the trolley bag in their reception near to the train station. Hostel staff was very helpful - got free upgrade to private room as they had run out of beds - thanks a lot!

Neat hostel. Clean, good amenities. Well worth for travelers looking at a bargain price in an otherwise exorbitant city! However, mind you - the actual hostel facility can be a few minutes walk from their main check-in office at 555 Santa Croce. The office is right opposite the train station (S.Lucia), across the grand canal. Our room was approximately 10-15min walk from the check-in office. So be prepared to lug your bags around town!! They also allow bag storage after checkout.

This hostel was in a great location - actually on the island of Venice. The price, given this location, was very reasonable. The room was very clean as was the bathroom and they provided towels and linens. The only down-side is that the check-in office is far from the actual room that you will stay in. Though it was not a problem for us, if something had happened in the middle of the night, I'm not sure we would have had much help since the office closes for the night.

My mixed dorm room was 15 minutes walking distance away from the reception, right in the center of town. All basic things are available what a traveller needs - a bed, bathroom (cleaned daily), a fridge and a kettle. A mini-conti breakfast is in the room as well. For someone who is only looking for a sleeping place this is a good one. The lady at the reception was very nice and gave a lot of infos when handing out the Venice city map.

My bed needed a new mattress. I felt like I was sleeping on just springs. And it is a little inconvenient that you have to check in at a different location then the actual hostel.
