A great hostel. The only disadvantage is that the hostel is not very close to the city centre of Como. Yet, the environment is very nice. I check-out from the hostel at 6:00 a.m. The staff gave me a lift to the bus stop. They are friendly and helpful.

I had wonderful time there. Very friendly and helpful staff, definitely very beautiful place, very clean and very tasty Italian food (Do NOT miss Francesco's omelet). I was not very happy with the breakfast, except cappuccino which was very good. I expected to have Italian bread, fresh pressed juice and homemade jam, hopefully next time. Thank you guys!

Definitely a hostel to write home about! Elegant, eco-sensitive, comfortably renovated 1000 y.o. building in an amazing location - if you didn't have to walk a bit to get there (15-20 mins uphill, on cobblestones), it wouldn't be in the amazing place it is. Beautiful forest with cuckoo calls instead of traffic noise and a stroll from one of the best views over Como. So walk! and enjoy the wonderful hospitality and cooking - no guest kitchen, but capuccinos, deluxe €4 cheese omelettes, etc.

I was at the only one at this hostel the night I stayed there. That brings its own benefits, but it would have been nice to have been there with a full house. It's a new hostel so everything was in great condition and luxurious. The location is both an attraction and a disadvantage. I would phone up and ask to be picked up from town as the hostel is at the top of the hill. However, there's an unmissable view over Como from the top of the hill and it's a nice walk down to town through the woods.

Fantastic hostel in an oasis of calm on the outskirts of Como city centre. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. 20-30 min walk from the waterfront. They can pick you up/drop you off at the the bottom of the hill if you dont feel like the walk up or i you have lots of luggage. Recommended.

Very nice hostel in a very beautiful park close to Como. A short uphill walk from the town. Only negative is an 11 o\'clock curfew and the hostel being closed in the afternoon.

The hostel is on the mountain. We don't know how to contact for free shutter bus to pick up us.Then we carried on big laugague on the hard way go up to the mountain. It will be nice if they are mention that we should contact them when we arrive to the meeting point and then they will send the shutter bus to pick up in few minitue.

Francesco was a great host. The place was really clean and spacious compared to a lot of places I've seen around Italy. What was nice was that you could get dinner there too, which was well priced and good! The only downside was the location -- up an unpaved trail (we came with out road bikes on a cycling trip). Nevertheless, it was very quiet.

The team is very nice and brings you every morning by car until Camelarta piazza. The Hostel is really lost in the nature and peacefull. The place is really beautiful. Just a few advice for your arrival. If you take the train from Milan, go down at Como-Camellarta. You'll have a walk of 10 minutes until Camelarta Piazza. Then give a call to the hostel, they will catch you by car from the piazza to the hostel. The team is really friendly and will make everything to make you spend a nice stay.
