The Hostel was overall great. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the hostel was fantastic. Although I must say that the room where we stayed was very much small.

At first when we arrived at the hostel we found to be an ok atmosphere there we a lot of young people like expected but washrooms were outside which was unexpected almost similar to an "out-house". The staff was very laid back about payments, and this gave us a comfortable vibe at first. I was travelling with a group of girls and one night there was an incident which involved the manager of the hostel using his master to key to enter a dorm of 6 females at about 4:30am due to intoxication.

This hostel had a great vibe, easy going, laid back, the balcony was a great place to meet other people. The hostel owners were also super friendly and knowledgeable should you have any questions on Crete and Greece. Truly enjoyed my stay there.

I had an amazing time at this hostel. I was very happy that it was a traditional kind of place with semi-outdoor showers and beautiful orange trees overhanging the terrace. Even though there wasn\'t a place for me to lock my backpack, I still felt like my stuff was extremely safe. I definitely recommend this place to any kind of traveler.

The Rethymno Youth Hostel was the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Ivan was wonderful and you could really tell that he is passionate about his job. The hostel was a lot of fun and relaxed and you definitely get the most of your money. The location was great being so close to the beach and bus station. Ivan helped us plan activities and was exceedingly helpful and friendly.

This hostel was in a great location! Only 10 minutes from the beach in Rethymnon. The staff was great! Ivan is such an awesome guy! And the breakfast they serve every morning is so cheap and delicious!

Ivan was great!! Really great friendliness and hepfulness from the staff ... the rooms are extremely basic with the only furniture being beds, but everything else was great!

I REALLY COULDNT FAULT THIS HOSTEL THE STAFF IVAN AND HIS WIFE MADE ME MOST WELCOME AND I MET SOME LOVELY PEOPLE THERE ENJOYED IT NO END LOOK FORWARD TO VISITNG AGAIN
