This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff were out of this world, and always up for a good time. Styles, Jesus, and Dave we miss you already!! I am for sure coming back in the summer months. Make sure you do the Booze Cruise along the Danube, its a night not to be missed! Retox Budapest withdrawal...

Do you suspect that you are a party animal? Are you down to get down? Does costumed karaoke or partying on a boat sound like fun? Do you think you can keep up with the most friendly and outrageous group of maniacs on the hostel circuit? If so you should not hesitate to book a bunk at Retox for at least 3 nights. Don't worry about which three, every night is a big one. You'll end up staying longer so don't plan anything after that you can't afford to cancel. Enjoy!

God awful, by far the worst hostel ive ever stayed in. Bet i inhaled more paint thinner than a 1960s hippie while i slept in a newly painted room. But hey, if your a 15 year old on a binge its probably as good as anything else. Stay away.

Legends... TOWIE Dave, Suisse Jon, Smike, Munch, Willy, Suz, Bullseye and Tits. I think that´s everyone. Keep it up lads! Jesus was just a bogan from Newcastle who still couldn´t remember my name after 5 days.

Great party hostel, loosest time ever. The booze cruise on the Friday night down the Danube was definitely one for the ages. Great staff, everyone is very friendly - this is obviously a party hostel so if you're looking for a good night of sleep then this isn't for you. Super social, definitely recommend!

This is by far the best place in Europe to stay. The staff are out of this world, the parties are endless.... You can't help but get swept away in the Retox madness. Awesome common room for morning after de briefs and a sweet all year round bar for crazy antics. Love it!

By far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Don't know if you're allowed to swear on these things but all the staff know i think there awesome c***ts. Munch, Jesus, Sunshine and Brooks are the best guys you'll ever meet along with everyone else. Can't explain how much I love this place and if I wasn't going to Prague, we never would've left

This hostel is one of the best in Europe for young backpackers that want to party all night ! They are organising great activities

I've been travelling for three months and Retox is the best hostel I have stayed at. Munich, Smike, Bullseye, Jesus, Sunshine and the rest of the crew are amazing, another family who take you under there arms and show you the best of Budapest. With activities every night you soon become part of the Retox family and you make so many friends. I'm excited to come back in the summer and see Retox in the sun.

So when I die, and if I go to Heaven, I'm pretty sure it'll be Retox. Never have I experienced such organized chaos. The staff is made up of some of the coolest people I've met (Munch, Bullseye, Jesus) and everyone was on the same page about the amount of epic fun the weekend would bring. Genuinely caring about their guests having a great time - they offer advice for what to do in Budapest and hold awesome events every night. A weekend wasn't nearly long enough. Definitely going back.

Had the best time at this hostel, all the staff are really nice & are awesome to party with! Good facilities and location. Don't expect to get much sightseeing done if you stay here though, you'll be too busy drinking or being hung. Good place for solo travelers you'll be mates with everyone after the first night. Will definitely be back!

Once you check into this hostel you won't want to check our. Once you get locked in a serious drinking collection the tendency is to push it as far as you can. Best staff I have had in my whole three months of travelling. The hostel is run very well having a new thing on every night as well as meeting all the other party hostel guests. Dont book anywhere else but you will need a week of recovery. Munch is a legend.

This place 'RETOX' was awesome, iv stayed in a lot of hostels and this is one of the best. Staff treat you like a friend not just another occupier and are always happy to drop what they're doing to help out, give advice or solve an issues. The Atmosphere was great, a real social, party vibe and big downstairs bar perfect to meet new people. Every night was different with dress up, pub crawls etc. Best place iv been to so far and couldn't recommend it more......You wont be disappointed!

My friend and I went for the weekend and had an amazing time. The hostel is in a super convenient location and all the staff were beyond helpful. The nights out were really fun and the staff made sure that everyone had a great time.They gave us a really helpful map which had a bunch of different things to do/see, as well as good restaurants and bars to go to. I wish we got to stay longer as 3 days was definitely too short... but I would love to go back in the summer.

I stayed for 4 nights before moving to another hostel and overall had a pretty decent time. It's one of four party hostels and the other 3 have differing balances between chilling out and partying whereas this is on the far end of the partying scale. The staff though (from all 4 hostels) are a bit 'cringy' - something I heard a few other guests mention. Would recommend if you're under 24 and looking to booze up every night but then you'd miss out on seeing Budapest for the amazing city it is! :p

Definitely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff work so hard to make u feel at home, and put in so much work behind the scenes to organise events every night. I was travelling by myself and met so many cool people. I never wanted to leave.
