Retro Moldova Hostel Reviews

I had a blast during my stay over there, the ultra-friendly bosses Cristina and Marc deserve a special mention for pure awesomeness !

All those reviews about how awsome the staff is, are absolutely correct! I've arrived at 00:30 and Mark was kind enough to walk me to the bars and make sure I wouldn't get lost and had a good time. Hostel is new and very well decorated as well as pretty neat and clean. They even have an awsome bunker!! Thank you so much guys for everything, It's a fact that I'll be back!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in a small flat with about 5 rooms. When you get to the door it'll be hard to spot, but is there :) Breakfast buffet is provided. The hostel was clean, it had wifi, a computer for the internet and a "bunker" room were you could stay after quiet time.

It was nice staying at this hostel. The staff was friendly and very helpful toward us. If we are coming back, surely we would return to this hostel. Pia

Very good hostel!

I stayed only one night at RETRO and I had the best services I could wish for! amazing staff, great location, very clean, free coffee all day, good free breakfast, and hot shower! The underground Bunker is a must see! No curfew, very secure, and comfy beds!

This is indeed one of the best hostels I stayed in while travelling through the former Soviet space and Eastern Europe. Great location, just in the city center. Very clean, warm, hot shower, stylish common area, very friendly staff, and great breakfast! Thanks Retro Moldova for your hospitality! I\'ll definitely stay here again!

Only nice words about the Retro Hostel. The location is quite central and easy access to the city centre - only 5 minutes walking. Close as well to some restaurants and a supermarket. The only bad issue is the lacking of the sign in front of the hostel.Being a small hostel - only 3 room - the security is excellent and for a larger group is perfect. Two bathrooms and everything is clean. Breakfast is basic - milk, cereals, eggs, butter but for the hostel price you can not ask for more.

The hostel is nice inside and although it's in the center, it's a bit hard to find the entrance (its in the back of the building) You have breakfast in the morning without paying any extra.. Good place to stay!
