Retro Hostel Shevchenko is located of the main streets of fantastic Lviv - Shevchenko Avenue. The hotel occupies a part of a 200 years old Austrian building in a classic style and repaired in 2008.There's over 1220 square meters of 'space' to enjoy at Retro Hostel Shevchenko! Efficient use of hotel's space allows us to offer you the lowest room rates in lviv.
We are the only hostel located in the historic old town, down the street from Schevchenko Monument, and the main Prospect with most routes from the train station leading here! We are run by experienced travelers! We are the only truly centrally located hostel in L'viv. We are in walking distance to all the main clubs and pubs, so you can easily and safely walk home after a long night. There's an ATM at 10 meters, and the best thing is that there's a 24H EVERYTHING STORE right around the corner!

Ukrainian Visas for Australians and New Zealanders
Accept for citizens of Australia and New Zealand no one from Europe; USA, Canada and other country's need a visa. . But don't be put off. Getting a visa is now is easy and can be done in a day.
If you are in Krakow, for example, you only have to go to the Consulate on Krakowska Street in Kazimierz (Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9 -12), fill out an application, leave your passport, then go to the nearest bank to pay in the money. Later that day go back to the Consulate with proof of payment and you're done. If you want it done same day it costs a bit more, otherwise you wait a few days and pay less...Please allow at least 24 hours for us to send your invitation and at least a further 24 hours for consular procedure.
