clean, not fancy, very good location, in the middle of the Barrio Gótico, nearby a metro station. Just behind the hotel there is a good place to have breakfast. Btw, if you want to eat cheap, never - never - go to a restaurant at the Ramblas. Just walk a few blocks far away from the Barrio Gótico (e.g., in Barceloneta).

The location was excellent, definitely the best aspect of the hostel! The staff was really friendly and always ready to help. They were happy to answer all of our questions and requests. The room itself was quite small, but I kind of expected that. We got fresh towels everyday, and the bathroom was sufficient. The only thing that I would complain about, is the bed. Wasn't comfortable at all. We barely had any sleep, the 5 days we were there. But all in all, you can't top the location!

The staff charged us more than the booking cost via Hostelworld were agreed on. Discussions with the manager were senseless (as he did not explain or change anything), and he was very unfriendly. Super disappointing! German contract information were completely wrong spelled and of no help. The location is great - as the hotel is in the middle of the city, but the rooms are very noisy what makes sleeping a hard fight (no air conditioning so you have to have the windows open all night long).
