Property Information:
Reykjavik City Hostel is right in the heart of Laugardalur Park, next door to the national sport stadiums and Laugar; Iceland's biggest Pool & Spa. It offers comfortable budget accommodation and excellent facilities, both indoors and outdoors. It is within 30 minute walking distance from the city center, along the scenic Reykjavik coastline, or 10 minutes by bike or bus. It has been an Eco certified place to stay since 2004.
Facilities include free WIFI in your room and all lounges, coffee bar, three fully equipped guest kitchens, dining area and laundry facilities. Our breakfast buffet is a good start to the day. All double rooms come with linen included. Ample lounge areas and an outdoor patio and garden. Computer access, free movie hire and social events. Supermarket nearby open 24hrs.
The reception team will help you organize your visit to this exciting City; bus passes, bikes, rental cars and all recommended day tours and excursions, including Northern Light tours, The Blue Lagoon, The Golden Circle Husky and Glacier tours, hiking and biking. Guests enjoy complimentary pick-up service for most tours. Great specials and package deals available.

Latest Review
This hostel was alright, but waaaay too far away from the city centre. It's certainly not a 30 walk like the website suggests, it's about an hour! It is cheap, and you get what you pay for really. The wifi in the rooms is very poor also, it's slow and always cuts out. I certainly wouldn't stay here again if I ever return to Reykjavik.
