Want to experience Iceland's majestic city, coastline, and countryside in one visit? Dalur HI Eco Hostel is perfectly located and our team will welcome you there! There's plenty to entertain you at the hostel, too – our cafe, lounge areas, patio and garden make ideal spots to get acquainted with some friendly new faces. Enjoy free parking and easy access to the city center by bus (www.straeto.is) or scooter (www.hopp.is)

Location
We're located in the heart of Laugardalur Park, next door to the national sports stadiums and Laugardalslaug, Iceland's biggest thermal pool and spa. It's a 30-minute walk to the city center along the scenic Reykjavik coastline, or 10 minutes by bike or bus. From Keflavík Airport, FlyBus run to a schedule connecting with every flight and will drop you off at the hostel upon request.

Rooms and Dorms
Our mixed or female-only dorms and private double rooms are clean, cozy, and stylishly decorated with touches of authentic Nordic décor. Linen is included in your stay, and all of our comfy dorm beds have their own personal reading lights and plugs. Some rooms have shared bathrooms, while others are private – but all of our showers are lovely and hot.
Please note that children under 12 are not allowed to stay in shared dorms. Children over 12 years old can stay in shared dorms when travelling with a guardian.

Start your morning with our breakfast or stock up at the local minimarket and get inventive in our guest kitchen.

Stayed in 3 different hostels in Iceland. This was my favorite. Great vibe, lots of showers, parking. A little further from downtown, but definitely manageable with out a rental and super easy if you have one.

Excellent stay, clean rooms and such, easy check in, you don't need to talk to anyone if you don't want to, they email you the check in instructions made everything easy. luggage storage was free, I really appreciated that. check the free food section in the kitchen before you shop for food. multiple tour bus stop here making any tours you book convenient if you choice accommodation pick up. location is not downtown, however it's not far at all with a scoter rental or bus.
