A good out of the city stay. I'm happy it was near parks to walk around

Great location, amazing surroundings with camp-ground, Food places, & Thermal pools next door, beautiful walk to the downtown area, bus stop right in front of the hostel, clean place with great atmosphere, very helpful staff. I would love to go back at stay at the same hostel again.

Great hostel with a good environment but the location was not very good if you are trying to hang out and see the city center.

The City Hostel is the best option if you want to save some money. They have nice dorm rooms and you can even camp outside if you have your own tent. I really liked the atmosphere with nice common areas where you get to meet plenty of people. The only downside is obviously the location since it takes you 30-40 to walk into town. If you take the bus you kinda lose the whole benefit of saving money in the first place

Good clean hostel with fantastic staff. Perfect location for the solstice festival.

Nice hostel! They have great facilities and nice rooms. The only problem is that the hostel is a little far from the city center. It takes about 40 mins to walk downtown, but it's a beautiful walk along the water. There also is a bus that can take you downtown and most tours you book will pick you up right from the hostel.

Very helpful staff. It's about 30-40 minutes walk to downtown Reykjavik. Breakfast is really expensive, but so is everything else in Iceland.

One of the better hostels we have stayed in. The kitchen had everything we could use, the common area was soft and inviting, wifi good, and the people here were very like minded. All in all a very nice stay.

Cool place. Nice and modern. No problems.

This was my first hostel stay in many years. I arrived very late but night staff were very accommodating re check in. Room was comfortable. I had breakfast there and it was great.
