The location, and the hostel itself are ok, until we asked the personnel to serve the breakfast earlier than usual, since we had to leave. they were kind of reluctnat and refused to serve it. Also when paying the bill, we were not treated nicely. the guy was kind of impatient and there was a misunderstanding with money that was not explained clearly.

This hostal is owned and run by a guy called Tarik, who will be your host during your stay. He's definitely someone who understands hospitality, and he'll do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hostal itself is located perfectly in the medina, and not to hard to find. The room I'd say is normal: definitely nothing special. Good value for money, and with Tarik being your host, definitely a very recommandable plae for your stay in Fez.

A very nice place. The only issue we had was the shower, the water didn't work properly on the first day or the last day.

Beautiful place but very quiet, it's not a place to meet people.. Be careful taxes are not included in the price and we had to pay an extra 10 euros. The owner is nice but he doesn't know much about the place. A nice place if you are a couple and you want tranquility.

Tarik runs a very good riad! It's a big house with 4 rooms and ensuite bathrooms located just 2 mins walk from the Blue Gate. Tarik provides breakfast each morning and can organise taxi/tour guide etc. Our tour guide (Abdul) was brilliant - showed us around the medina for about 6hrs for 400dh and showed us each district (leather, shoes, fruit, meat, handicrafts, rugs etc) without the pressure of buying anything. We will come back and stay here!

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms and premises clean and nice, however it's pretty dark inside, lack of sunlight inside, and the breakfast is just jam, coffee / tea and orange juice. I would recommend it for 1-2 days stay.

Additional taxes aren't mentioned in the hotel description. it is about 7euro/room/night. Lot of street noise in the evening / at night --> earplugs are recommended, further excellent location!

We really ur stay at Riad Anass Al Quali, the owner was extremely welcoming and helped us with all our questions and put us in contact with a great guide for the medina! The breakfast was also delicious! The room was spacious and she Riad itself was quite beautiful being a house which is over hundreds of years old. Overall great location and excellent staff! couldn't be happier!

We can say that Tarik, our host, became a good friend. As this is one typical Moroccan Riad, let's say we stayed in his place for two nights. Room was beautiful and comfy, even had a little fridge in our room. Breakfast was good. The riad has a little roof terrace which was the perfect place to drink a couple of beers and have a smoke. We didn't get strong WiFi signal while in the room as we were in the third level but still, I can totally recommend staying in this Riad.

The staff at this hostel were very helpful, amenable and ready to help whenever you wanted. We were really pleased with the room, which was big with a nice bathroom, as well as the location which was right off one of the main streets. Central but very quiet. Great hostel!

Sidi Tarik is an amazing host, making sure that everything during your stay in Fes will go well. Breakfast was good, with pure butter an fresh Moroccan breads. Not too noisy at night, easily accessible, easy to go anywhere in the Medina from the Riad as well. We enjoyed our stay with Tarik and Zakaria and we wish them all the best. Check-in can be improved to be a bit faster :)

Frankly, I think it would be really hard to find a better place than Riad Anass Al Ouali in Fes. The manager, Tariq, is a fantastic guy, who made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. It is wonderful how he manages to run the riad professionally while being social and discussing like a friend with his guests. The riad is very beautiful and clean, it is located very well (in the center of the medina, but in a quiet street), the beds are good and the shower very hot.

It was a great experience staying at this hostel. The staff was very welcoming and receptive, made us feel at home. The location is perfect, in a quiet street close to shopping and restaurants. The structure is also amazing, like the breakfast and the tea (the best I tasted in Morocco!). I nominate for all people who want to know Fes, which was a city that loved!

Riad Anass Al Quali is in the heart of the Medina. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. Also Tarik was so friendly and helpful. He advised us on where to go, served us breakfast every morning and even walked us to the bus stop to make sure we didn't miss our bus. Tarik went above and beyond what was asked of him.

Is is a typical Moroccan runned by moroccan people, with a delicious moroccan breakfast (not fresh orange juice, but still very good) The room was clean and with heater. The only one con about this place is the staff, they were just correct, nothing else, no advices for do or see in Fez. But good breakfast, clean bed and hot water in the heart of the Medina, what else would we need?
