Tax for staying in the medina is not included in the price mentioned here. It is a nice hostel with a good location though!

This hostel rocks: it's in a very convenient location in the medina, yet in a quiet alley; the place is beautiful and well maintained; the staff is really welcoming and helpful, and will make sure you feel at home; the free breakfast is delicious and filling. So, great option! Keep it up!

Nordine was super helpful and showed us (group of 4 people traveling) a really good time. We will definitely go back!

Excellent location if you want to stay in fes medina (very close to the blue gate, so its a good one to not get lost). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Its not a place for "party" and meet new people, but if you want a quiet place in the medina that is not expensive I strongly recomend!

we booked two separate rooms for 4 + 3 people, however this hostel only has double bedrooms, so we ended up having four bedrooms (2+2+2+1). I suppose we were lucky since the hostel was empty for that night, however the information on the website was not correct. The staff were very helpfull and solved this issue quickly even tough they barely speak french/english.

Very handy location if coming in by taxi/bus, just a few minutes walk from the major square and entrance to the medina

We had a great stay at Riad Anass Al Ouali! The Riad is beautifully decorated and our room had good space and a nice little bathroom. The Riad is placed very central, in the old medina. With only a 3 minute walk to the main restaurant area, and markets. Tarik, the owner was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfeast was absolutely delicious. I absolutely recommend this Riad for travelers who is looking for some peace and quiet in the bussy city of Fez.

We stayed three nights in a room for two and had a great time. The room was nice and clean (only one lightbulb not working), the private bathroom was good. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the interior is beautiful, the location is good and easy to find (after the first time, our taxidriver called the staff from the Boujloud gate and we were picked up). We strongly recommend the Riad!

Tarek was a great host: he was very friendly and helpful. First day we came, he greated us with Marrocain tea, he helped us with luggage to lift it in our room and told lots of interesting things about Medina. He also organised us a transfer to airport for a cheaper price than taxis. As for riad itself, it's beautiful and decorated in Marrocain style in pleasant colors. The location is also good: the hostel is situated in the beginning of Medina, so the access to it is quick. Alexandra, Russia

I had a good stay at Dar Ali. I liked its convenient location in the heart of the medina. The room I booked was spacious and comfortable. The house manager, Tarik, was an excellent host. He was very kind and interactive. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, which comprised of different styles of homemade Moroccan bread, delicious jam, and coffee. Dar Ali made my stay in Fez and I would not hesitate to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. Tariq was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Next time we are in Fes we will definitely be staying there again. The hostel is in such a great location and is really good value for money, especially since breakfast is included in the price. everything was clean and tidy and we would recommend the hostel to anyone who was visiting Fes.

Great location and the staff went out of their way to help and answer questions. The room was a little run down and the shower pressure low but the character of the place made up for that. We would stay there again.

Tariq was an incredible host! Very helpful and always made us feel at home. This riad is located at the start of the medina which was great as it made it very easy to always find our way back. Rooms were beautiful and the air conditioning helped us to deal with the heat better. Lastly the free breakfast was delish!

Great location, easy to find and close to the large streets. Beautiful architecture. Comfortable rooms. But above all it was the heartwarming and amicable environment of the hostel and the intimate relationship we were able to create with the hostel owner within such a short time period that truly made this a great stay.

This Riad was beautiful! And Tarek was a wonderful host. We were greeted with mint tea on arrival, and had a lovely breakfast each morning. The Riad was gorgeous and so was our room. Nice and spacious. The location is great, right in the medina, but quiet since it was down an alley. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Everything was beyond wonderful.
