A riad style hostel with arty touches and absolutely amazing views from the beautiful rooftop terrace, which was great for chilling on. The delicious breakfast wasn't included but the room was cheap so that's ok! Anne was very helpful and called someone immediately when we told her our toilet wasn't working, it was fixed straight away. A really convenient location in the medina too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel while passing through Chefchaouen, myself and another female in a private twin. It was beautiful, very clean, and Ann the owner is very helpful and friendly. Be aware that everything but the room costs extra-- breakfast, laundry, etc. come at a price. I would recommend staying here though, it's nice.

I stayed in a 3 bed mixed dorm at the terrace and it was wonderful

Very international hostal, run by an English/Irish lady, who's very helpful and social with her guests. Location is great, and everything is very clean. This hostal is perfect for groups of young people who want to meet likeminded peers, less recommendable for young couples who want to enjoy a quiet place together.

Our time spent at Riad Baraka was nothing short of exceptional. Anne and her boys have done a marvelous job to create a hospital environment for all-photos really don't do it justice. Immaculately clean-towels refreshed daily, bathrooms scrubbed daily. Breakfast options are delicious, inexpensive and well worth it. The staff provided us with everything we needed to know-good restaurants, how to get around, the amount we should pay for goods, etc. Friendly. Calm. Clean. Good for Couples&Singles!

We had such a great time there! What I loved the most was the cleanliness of the place and how much Joe was eager to keep everything organized. Also the terrace is pretty cool! Best regards, Manoela, Pedro and Rafaela

Excellent hostel. Well situated just inside the Medina - here's a hint, almost ALL places in Morocco are tricky to find due to the Medina. This one is a cinch. Joe is hilarious, his mum is awesome. Also, they had beer in the middle of Ramadan. An oasis. I originally was going to stay for 2 nights, added another one to get more sight seeing. Chefchaouen is amazing.

Great hostel in the middle of Chefchaouen. The best rooftop terrace in town, it's clean, the (British) staff are very friendly and full of advice. Lot's of backpackers from all around the world and probably the best place to stay in Chaouen!

I can't say enough about Riad Baraka, Joe (the owner), and the staff. The place is comfortable, clean, ridiculously cheap, and the perfect blend of exotic and homey. The rooftop terrace is fantastic. Joe and his family are British ex-pats, so they know just how to guide you through everything from getting to the airport to buying souvenirs to finding a killer lunch (even during Ramadan!). It felt like staying at a friend's house, and I very much hope to be back soon.

This hostel would be great for groups of 2 or 3 people as they only have small rooms, but saying that we had a great time here (as a group of 5). The staff are English and provide beer at a reasonable 30 Dirhams a bottle, which is probably the only beer you'll get in Chefchaouen, unless you bring it with you. There are only 2 bathrooms.

This is a very nice, clean adorable hostel with lovely owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and find your way around. They are full of great suggestions and tips of things to see and how to navigate through Morocco.

Beautifully restored house in the medina area of Chefchouen. Joe and his brother provide excellent service and are very knowledgeable about the area. They can recommend restaurants and areas to see. The rooms are clean. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the accommodations. Hope to see them open a place in Cambodia.
