Great place to stay. Everyone was fantastic and it is really well located, really near the central square of the Medina.
Clean, very nice decoration and a fantastic rooftop!

Beautiful riad in a great spot. Not hard to find. Lovely decoaration. Fantastic roof terrace and good breakfast. I agree with some previous comments about the curtain seperating the bedroom from the bathroom, but sometimes a flimsy wooden door provides the same amount of privacy. It wasnīt a problem for us. Watch out for the tourist tax of 2.60 per person per night which isnīt included in the price. It pushes up the price a fair bit over a couple of days. Would definitely stay here again.Beautiful riad in a great spot. Not hard to find. Lovely decoaration. Fantastic roof terrace and good breakfast. We have just come back from a great stay in the Riad Basma. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the riad itself is very characterful. The roof terrace is great for breakfast in the morning or for listening to the atmospheric hum of the city and calls to prayer at night. Staff all very friendly and the breakfast was simple but tasty and plentiful. Location excellent - down a quiet but safe side street, only 5 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna. Highly recommended!

Location great. 3 min from the main square and really easy to find once you have find the Dabachi street (Derb Dabachi). Cleanliness remarkable. Terrace gorgeous and perfect for relaxing after the hole day in the Medina. Comunication with the staff living there was not easy as we donīt speak french. Only negative point: The mattress. Worn and sags in the middleLocation great. 3 min from the main square and really easy to find once you have find the Dabachi street (Derb Dabachi). Cleanliness remarkable. Good location, though hard to find. There were mice in our bathroom on 2 occassions. When we let the housekeeper know, she laughed at us and sprayed Raid in the affected area. Needless to say, the mice proved to be a handy wake-up call the following morning. I would not recommend this place, nor Marrakech in general. Good location, though hard to find. woman that works in the riad during the day does not speak english or french so it was extremely difficult try to ask something except when Hasna was present (which by the way was very helpful and kind). I marked Security at Poor since when we came back to the riad after two days trip in the desert we found that our luggage was still in our room...which in the meantime had been given to other guests!! I even had to wait 15minutes to get my suitcase back!! Lousy service from that point of view.woman that works in the riad during the day does not speak english or french so it was extremely difficult try to ask something except when Hasna was present (which by the way was very helpful and kind).
