Very friendly staff. Secure Riad, but located down a long narrow dark alley, which was a bit frightening to walk down in the dark. Otherwise, excellent location in the Medina Rooms very comfortable. They charged 6 euros extra for heat, which we did not get. Staff brought us as many blankets as we wanted. The woman in particular was so very nice and helpful.

Simply the best customer service I've ever experienced! The location, too, was ideal for our needs, and the stay was inexpensive. But it was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff that really went above and beyond my expectations.

Despite only staying one night in this riad, and as far as we were aware we were the only people staying at the time, this riad is great! Great positioning and beautifully decorated. In a safe area and staff were very friendly. Only probably would be that the price of the air conditioning is NOT included in the price of the stay (unlike other riads) and it's €10 for air con per night! When you're there in summer it's essential, that would be the only downfall. Apart from that we would recommend!

Our stay in Riad Basma was outstanding. The staff were extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Our breakfast was tasty and varied every day, the rooftop terrace was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh, and our bed and towels were made and changed every day. We would recommend this Riad for anyone planning on visiting Marrakesh and really experiencing the city for what it is. It's location is excellent and close to Jemaa El Fna, the heart of the city.
