Enjoyed our stay at Riad Damia. Mint tea and a hospitable welcome upon arrival! Also, as we were alone during our stay, our room was upgraded to the master suite - thanks! Breakfast was quite good but the constant waiting on our table (by the manager) was quite disconcerting. Would be a good idea to give guests a key to the Riad so they can come and go as they please. Generally, a pleasant stay - but at times, it honestly felt like we were under surveillance, making it difficult to fully relax.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you for your comment. Sorry if we bothered you while we were looking to make you feel as confortable as possible . Giving a key of the Riad to each guest is just impossible and can be dangerous if a key is lost outside. We open the door any time , 24 hours a day. Regards.

The Riad is located in a portion of the Medina called Bab Ziat. It's really easy to find and accessible by taxi. Both very important when navigating the labrynths of the Medina in Fez. The riad has a nice touch of furniture, accessories and a luxury feel. The manager was so accomodating, making us breakfast every morning, securing us a guide for the next day. He made dinner for another group of guests one evening. hire a guide, careful with "fake" guides, and caution about purchases from co-op

One of the most beautiful rooms and hotels I have ever stayed in and very kind staff. Quiet rooms and good breakfast. Good accessibility by taxi. They provided me with an excellent guide too.

My boyfrined and I stayed at Riad Damia for our two nights in Fes and it was delightful. We booked it because it was one of the cheaper options available (twin standard room) at the time and we were absolutley floored when we walked in. The beautiful lobby had us convinced that we must have accidentally booked a 4 star hotel. They do have more expensive rooms, but our small, reasonably priced one was just the ticket. The staff was very nice and helpful and always checked up on us. Guests were mostly familie

Be careful of the kids in the street. My boyfriend and I were stalked by two guys for a whole day in medina. But the majority of people there was really helpful and willing to answer us when we got lost. The staff there was nice too.

Not only is Riad Damia a good hotel, but their staff went out of their way to return a shirt to my home country. Highly recommend it.
