We had a great long weekend stay at Riad Dar Tamlil. The location is excellent - within 5 minutes walking from the big square. It's not at all difficult to find. The rooms are big, clean and most of all very cool which is nice in a hot city like Marrakesh. There is an AMAZING roof terrace where they serve you a nice breakfast (fresh orange juice!). We had some difficulty with the wifi, and at some point during the day there is not hot water for a while, but some time later it is fine.

Unlike others who have commented, I received little in the way of great hospitality upon arrival. However, that may be due to my daughters' arrival earlier that afternoon, and they were well welcomed.

If you are looking for a Riad close to the Medina then this is perfectly located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However i must point out that they do not have an iron. The tour guide/agency that they provide would not be recommended by me. Although they have nothing to do with the Riad, i would advise you not to use them. All in all its a good little Riad in an ideal location for the Medina being only a few hundred yards away.

In spite of the fact that there were 5 lamps in the room the light was too poor for reading.

One of the best places Ive visited on my trip, wish i could've stayed longer than 3 nights to enjoy the place more instead of wondering all the time in the medina. Great spot to relax and enjoy... orange tree, birds, authentic decor and architecture, amazing breakfast...wonderful place!

Simpel B&B but everything I need. Close to the big and busy square. staff happily to help with any any questions. Breakfast was fine. Lovely sweet pastery, good coffee and the staff made us breakfast at 7 when we had to leave for an excursion and flight departure. I would recommend everyone this place except when you seek 5 star luxury.

Great stay in Marrakech. Might be nice if there were a simple do it yourself breakfast option...I felt bad asking for early breakfast but on two occasions we had to leave early and asked for breakfast early, but we would have been happy with toast and a Nescafé which we could take care of ourselves if we had access to an electric kettle and a toaster. It's pretty common to have a self service buffet breakfast in the USA.
