Great location near the main square where you can find anything you need (food, bank, excitement). No lockers in the rooms but the front door is always locked and only opened for guests. Beautiful on the inside with a nice rooftop terrace however must be quiet after 9pm. Would recommend if you are in Marrakech.

The Riad Dia was absolutely amazing. Sana, the manager, was fantastic and always helped us with any questions or information we needed. The riad is beautiful, well located, and very clean. It has an amazing roof deck where you can read or hang out. The breakfast is fantastic as well and the helpful staff are even willing to make it for you to go if you need to get going early in the morning. The hostel is on a quiet street which makes for a great night's sleep.

I loved staying here - it was the best hostel I'd stayed at in Morocco. Great value and atmosphere, excellent location yet easy to find from the bus stop and amazing staff - Jemaal, Leila and the beautiful Sana are great - so helpful and their unlimited free mint tea sure beats the cheap beers anyday. Will definitely come back when I return to Morocco to see the desert. Victor.

This place is amazing and has the most lovely staff ever. The rooms are clean and spaceous and the breakfasts are homemade and served as you wake up... and they always bring you free tea! Layla is a wonderful person and helps make you feel at home in any way she can. Don't think twice about staying here. Go directly to Riad Dia!!!

Dear Sylvain, Many thanks for your review. The nature of a riad is that all the rooms face into a central courtyard rather than to the exterior. The location of the riad in the centre of the medina. Combining all this and that it is a backpackers hostel means that there will be some noise - it is definitely not excessive though. Probably less so than most hostels, as it is not a big party hostel. However, it is something to bear in mind prior to reserving a hostel in a busy medina setting.

I stayed at Riad Dia for 3 nights right at the start of my Morocco trip with two friends. A welcoming tee (available for free) was just the right thing after the flight. Everyone of the staff was real friendly and helpful whenever questions occured. Especially Sana and Leila were always open for any requests. The thing we enjoyed the most was the rooftop. Perfect for sunbathing, playing cards or whatever. Thank you very much for a great stay to Sana, Leila

This was hostel was one of the highlights of my time in Marrakech. There are many amazing terraces to lounge upon and meet other travelers. Layla, the hostel manager, was beyond helpful booking trips for us. It is a very laid back atmosphere, friendly, beautiful and colorful place. It is also very near to the main square.

Laila was a fantastic hostess who really made this place feel like a home away from home! Free tea, all the help you could ask for(especially about deals in and around town), and an incredibly kind staff made this an amazing place to stay in Marrakech. 100% recommended!

This hostel has fantastic staff and is social as per the reviews so it’s a great place to stay in that regard. However the wifi is temperamental and you regularly cannot connect or it drops out; There are 8 beds crammed into a tiny room with not enough room to even put your back and no lockers; There are not enough showers and you need to walk through other people's dorm room to get to most of them; The rooms are never locked; There are two power outlets in a room of 8 people.

This was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It is a beautiful riad with a friendly chilled out atmosphere, met so many lovely people! The staff were so helpful and welcoming, coming back from a day out felt like coming home. The breakfast was delicious and after having stayed here once we came back, they couldn't get rid of us! Special thanks to Leila and Sana, made our stay such a wonderful experience!

15 of us stayed in Riad Dia for 3 nights and we all had a great time. There is a is a lovely swiming pool in a fantastic communal area on the ground floor, accompanied by a warm welcoming atmosphrere. The location is very central within a couple of minutes of the main square and the maze of souks. A good breafast is included, in the afternoon you can relax on the roof terrace and in the evening there is the option of a very reasonably priced home cooked meal. A brilliant hostel! Hajar :)

This place is the most amazing hostel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I had a sore throat and the lovely boys running the hostel would make me tea with honey anytime they saw me. It was fantastic for meeting people, booking tours and as a home base in morocco. I will definetly be coming back!
