The owner was incredibly friendly, and very accommodating; he let us leave our bags there when we went for a desert tour. My only (minor) complaint would be that the rooms donīt have locks on the room doors. While the owner and the staff are completely trustworthy, it would have been better for our peace of mind. Other than that, I highly recommend Riad Douzi for anyone wanting to experience staying in a real riad in in Marrakech. Plus, the breakfasts are delicious! A very nice place to stay, near the big square. Not hard to find. If you arrive for the first time, you can ask a kid to bring you to the riad.

This traditional Riad is not far away from the main square and has a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful moroccan design. Each room looks different. The terrace where the breakfast is served is very cosy. The owner is indeed a wonderful host and made us really feel like home. His assistant is also a great person who helped us whenever we needed him. We started and ended our trip to Morocco in this Riad and it gave our holiday the perfect framing! Riad is quite and atmospheric but could do with a coat of paint . Generally gives the impression that it might have looked amazing some time ago but hasn't quite been maintained .. cockroaches in the bathroom didn't help..
