There was no internet but the friendly lady on reception lent me her laptop. the hostel was empty so not ideal for meeting people, could just be when i went. no toilet paper or soap in loos and hostel was being painted. bed was comfy and clean. staff were very nice.

a bit dififcult to find the first time but not a big issue! well located, very clean, nice terrace, its true there is not alot of water in the showers, but hey just stay a little longer. most importantly_ the staff was very helpfull, they even let as use the showers few hours after we checked out. altogether excellent value for money.

Nice little hostel with very friendly staff. Nice and bright with decent common area. Unfortunately the showers were a bit rubbish, giving only a trickle of water! But very cheap, so we stayed two nights then checked into a more expensive hotel (with amazing showers) for our final night, to average out the total costs. Apart from the showers, we have no other complaints.

Very difficult to find and in a poor state of repair. Light bulbs not working and hot water very scarce. Essaouira was beautiful and relaxing though!

No water a the highest floor. Breakfast not included. The street was kind of dark and narrow. One man of the staff, maybe the chief, not speaking English nor French. Cleaning could be better. Cheap place to sleep right in the center of Essaouira. Wi-fi not reaching the high floors. Room very dark. Nice terrace. Our room, double with bathroom, was very large. A lot of stairs indeed.

No water in the showers for most of the day, and only cold water without much pressure when available. Otherwise good location and a nice hostel.

Only thing good about this hostel is the location, which is right in the center of the medina. Other than that the hostel is dark, creepy, and dirty. I was very put off my the atmosphere, which may be different come tourist season, but it is not someplace I wish to return.

I spent a nice days in this quiet Hostel. Nice and friendly staff. It is important to print the map before you gone there. This hostel is not so easy to find without a map.

The place is very nice. Location is perfect to visit the city. The owner very kind and helpful. I'll think if one day I'll come back to Essaouira I'll go there again. Thanks for all.

In just few words... you get what you pay for. The place isn't exactly the cleanest thing ever... And the lockers aren't the safest thing neither. But for the price you pay, you get to sleep inside the medina of Essaouira and get a free and nice breakfast in a very morrocan style place.
