Nice riad with peaceful terrace. It's far away from the main square but I guess that way you get to know the souks. That side of the Medina doesn't feel safe but it's ok. Lovely room. A bit expensive for what it is but lovely place.
I would definitely recommend Riad Elsagaya, it had a great atmosphere. They had a nice courtyard with a pool and we were able to have a candlelit dinner there. They organise trips, we went to visit the waterfalls at ourika valley which was a great day out with amazing views. We met two others there who had said they had gone on a great trip out to the desert.
The riad was great, the staff were very nice and helpful, they went above and beyond in ensuring that we had everything we needed! The breakfast was always enjoyable in the mornings! It's about a 25 minute walk from the souks, but never seemed that long (only a £2.50 taxi ride if you don't fancy the walk). The riad was beautiful, my group of 4 stayed in 4 different rooms as we kept coming back, all the rooms very great, clean, big clean beds and lovely ensuites! I would definitely recommend it!!
