OK, Raid Fantasia. I loved it. The riad is beautifully traditional. Our room was safe, quiet, clean and huge. The courtyard area and terrace are a blessing to hide away from the busy streets. Abu (probably got his name wrong) is a gracious host. On our last evening he cooked tagine, we asked him to join us to share our food. In return he shared his background story with us. It was one of the most interesting I have ever heard. Gave me a real insight into morrocan life.

Riad Fantasia is a nice place and staff is extremely friendly. but be aware of booking a private room, the dorms are a better option. private rooms are expensive and you dont have no privacy at all, though it`s very noisy and you can`t close the door from inside. as the door only has a locker from outside, this also means that they dont clean your room during the day (they cant enter if your not there). bathroom was smelly.breakfast was very poor for the price we paid for the private room.

A charming and magical hostel located in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The staff are extremely hospitable with excellent helpings of yummy Moroccan mint tea and a decent breakfast to set you up for a good days worth of exploring. On our final morning we caught the sunrise room the hostel's terrace, our vantage point consisted of the majestic Atlas Mountains and not a bad way to end a truly memorable stay in a wonderful city. Excellent hostel, no complaints!

Staff was very helpful and fun, but don't expect to necessarily get the room you booked online upon arrival. It took an extra day to get into the original booked room however I was credited fairly for the room I was put in the first night. I would recommend taking them up on the offer for a ride from the airport or wherever. This is a tough spot to find, especially if you end up here during a busy hour with a large pack or luggage.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The Building is a beautiful Riad with a sunny terrace, its located near all of the souks and not far from the main square, the best thing though, was the staff... and we can't really call them staff because we already feel (after only a week) that they are our family. We highly recommend staying at this hostel, you won't want to leave! Special thanks to Zaid and Abdul, you are both extremely beautiful people inside and out and we miss your tea!

Was a nice but short stay. I organized a pick up but they didn't come which made things difficult but after that was sorted it was a good stay. Close to the market area and they can recommend some good restaurants and things to do.

Riad fantasia was the best hostel ever, smashed a great breakfast every morning in the riad and the location was bang in the middle of the medina. The staff were heroes and cooked the nicest Tagine in morocco!

When I arrived in the hostel I immediately felt home and comfortable. Especially the kind and open character of Sahid who takes care of the hostel was positive! He always was very friendly and offering to help at any question. This enthusiasm from the staff made it a very pleasant stay!
