The staff are really nice

The phone number Hostelworld sends is supposedly a mobile phone of an ex-employee, so we got some wrong info about our room. The location is about 30-50 meters from the main square following the south exit (Rue Riad Zitoun el Kdim in Google Maps) and then into a small side street to the west (right). Please note the Rue Riad Zitoun el Kdim is spelled different in every map we had. Somehow we got an extra cheap price because the manager was ill and for this it was good.

This hotel is great if you only need a place to sleep. Remember to bring your own towel and toilet paper. We had a double room with bathroom which was clean but quite worn out. The shower was lousy and made the whole bathroom wet. Wifi works in room. The main door to the hotel is locked, so you have to knock and wait a while to get in. The staff isn't always around and actually we didn't see the staff much. This is a okay and cheap hotel but we wouldn't recommend it.

Very nice Riad! We loved it there - the people are just so great! Be aware of flees - that is a problem of many riads in Morocco!

At this hostel, I felt so at home. I did not want to leave. I wish time would have been more generous for me to stay there longer. To me this hostel is luxury to me. The hostel offers a friendly service and clean room.

Excellent location just off Riad Zitoun Lakdim, very close to the J'ma El Fna Square. Room was small but clean, air-conditioning worked. Very recommendable if you don't plan on spending too much time in your hostel when visiting Marrakesh.

There are cleaner places where to stay in Marrakesh for the same price, in wider streets with more privacy. The terrace is very nice, we enjoyed the breakfast there. Only we had to wait for the breakfast little bit.

A nice and cheap hostel located right next to the main square. Free breakfast on the roof terrace. Hamza, the dude running the place was really nice and friendly. He helped us book our trip to the desert. Thanks Hamza

We stayed there for 3 days and enjoyed it very much as the complete atmosphere was soooo great! Especially the hostel Mum, Barka is really great as well as Medhi, the receptionist. We met nice people and enjoyed the roof terrace a lot. It was also nice to stay near the Earth Cafe a really nice vegetarian place as the local cuisine is mostly meat :-( We totally recommend this place :-)

Everyone my friend and I met were so welcoming and helpful when looking for places to eat and adventure off to. The space felt very safe; we felt completely comfortable hanging out with the hostel caretakers and they would give us wonderful advice for which excursion to go on :)

We stayed in three different rooms, all of them were quite clean. The shower didn't work at the first room. The breakfast is usually late for an hour, which is pretty annoying. The location is good, but also a bit noisy. Staff is friendly.

Riad is a bit hard to find, especially in the night. In the busy and narrow streets of medina the entrance to the right "derb" is indicated only by one almost invisible nameplate in a bunch of others. The personal is very helpful answering questions and showing directions where to go setting travellers things (buying train/bus tickets, etc...). Working wi-fi is a nice bonus (does not work properly in all riads that have it).

Clean budgetplace for travellers run by a very nice family and great located- really recommended (but if you expect luxury like warm showers at every time of the day: wrong place for you)
