This is a really good place to meet other travelers and it was a nice hostel; the roofdeck is a nice place to hangout for the sunset as well.

Im not a picky person when it comes to hostels but i dont stand for an unclean room. Its a 30 min walk to the Jamaa square. I suggest stay elsewhere.

I told them we\'d be late (11pm) & they used this as an op to send 2 guys to collect us from the taxi, and we told them that we didn\'t want directions (as we knew they\'d want money), but they followed us, then turned agressive when we wouldn\'t give them money. Even riad jddi staff teamed up with them (probs relatives). we were then moved to the nearby Dar Salam hostel, which was lovely, and the man who owned it shoed the boys away. DON\'T STAY HERE, STAY AT DAR SALAM! (it\'s very closeby)...More

Riad Jddi was beautiful. Our room was great, and Yousef was super-helpful.

The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, I felt right at home. Great location, between the medina and the new city, the owner explained in detail how to get from place to place, how to bargain for prices, what we should pay for things, etc. Anything we needed, we just had to ask. Tea and hookah was free, the building and rooms were beautiful, amazing value for the price. I loved it and would absolutely recommend it
