Riad Jddi was beautiful. Our room was great, and Yousef was super-helpful.

The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, I felt right at home. Great location, between the medina and the new city, the owner explained in detail how to get from place to place, how to bargain for prices, what we should pay for things, etc. Anything we needed, we just had to ask. Tea and hookah was free, the building and rooms were beautiful, amazing value for the price. I loved it and would absolutely recommend itThe owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, I felt right at home. I am disappointed as we were refused the place in the hotel apparently due to LEAKING ROOF!!!!!!!!! (we had booked reservation far in advanced). We were transfered to the hostel nearby with the air conditioner broken (the owner knew about it and did not even apologised for it) and no outside windows!!!!!! Price was obviously the same. We were too exhausted after intensive trekking to look for anything else and to survive the 40 degree temperature we ended up sleeping on the roof to feel at least...MoreI am disappointed as we were refused the place in the hotel apparently due to LEAKING ROOF!!!!!!!!! Never Riad Jddi and its staff again!!!!!!! I felt enormously offended!!!!!!!...Close

Really didnt like this hostel and i\'m not picky about hostels.. when we arrived the owner simply straightened the sheets from the previous occupants and told us it was ready.. and he did the same thing to the next guy when we left!! Also they advertise for WiFi, which is completely not true, didnt even have a computer to check my reservation.. and last but not least they tried to rip me off by charging me the 10% deposit i already paid online.. DONT STAY HERE!!Really didnt like this hostel and i\'m not picky about hostels.. when we arrived the owner simply straightened the sheets from the previous occupants and told us it was ready.. and he did the same thing to the next guy when we left!! This hostel was alright nice terrasse (sometimes crowded), a few little you'r travelling in morocco by car I would not recommend this or any other riad in the medina..there are some better than others but they are all similar old buildings and the comfort you can have here is limited due to the chaos right outside the door. I would recommend the Gueliz area with nicer hostels but BARGAIN the price! nicer rooms, breakfast and even pool for the same priceThis hostel was alright nice terrasse (sometimes crowded), a few little you'r travelling in morocco by car I would not recommend this or any other riad in the medina..there are some better than others but they are all similar old buildings and the comfort you can have here is limited due to the chaos right outside the door.
