Great riad, great location great staff and owner. Will stay here again next time in agadir. Also booked the zagoura/sahara tour through the hostel which was awesome and good value for money.

Very welcoming and peaceful place, with excellent breakfast. After the mayhem of Marrakesh it's a relief to relax in this lovely riad. A word of warning: the Hostelworld price (and deposit) was in Euro and we offered to pay the remainder in Dirham, thinking the rate would be preferential. This was not the case: the exchange rate used was 11, compared to 10.88 that tourists can achieve in town. It's a small thing to improve, and the practice is rife across Morocco. We paid in Euro.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Lakhdar! Friendly and welcoming staff, great and safe location (just a 5 minute walk to the Jamaa el Fna but situated in a calm neighbourhood), traditional Moroccan interior and breakfast - overall the perfect Hotel for a lovely stay in Marrakech (especially for couples). Explicit recommendation! :)

Had a lovely stay here. Booked last minute and they were very accommodating. Had a lovely room and were well looked after. The riad is in a really good location, the rooms are a really good size. Breakfast is also included which you can have on the terrace. Would recommend.

Riad Lakhdar was absolutely beautiful! We had a very pleasant stay! The two ladies of the staff, Hasna and Amal, were so lovely! They made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay and were just wonderful! We would most definitely stay at this riad again!

This is probably the best accommodation in Marrakech. The location is convenient and easy to find. The staff is already to help anything the guest might night. It is a welcoming environment in which it is possible to relax and feel at home. We spent 7 nights and our stay was awesome. We got all the advice we needed. Wi-fi works well, rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is superb especially the mint tea. Prices are affordable. We totally recommend this place.

We could not have booked a better place to stay on our first trip to Marrakech. Our room was beautiful, the food incredible, the staff ever cheerful and helpful. The riad is only 5 minutes away from Jemaa el Fna which makes it an excellent starting point from which to venture into the souks and alleyways of Marrakech. Could not recommend this riad enough.

We had a very pleasant stay at Riad Lakhdar, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The staff is really polite and discreet. The inside patio with the birds and the nice, quiet atmosphere is just priceless, especially after a long day of exploring hectic Marrakech!

Many thanks for staying with you. You are very friendly and the breakfast was unbelievable. Parking is closed by and safe. It was easy to find and we liked especially the little birds flying beside us.

Stayed for 3 days, didn't know what to expect looking at the front of the building, but we were very pleasantly surprised! Fantastic stay all round, would recommend to anyone. Close to the souks, fantastic staff, plus a lovely breakfast every morning on the roof terrace. Hopefully we'll be back there soon. Keith & Annmarie

Lovely hostel about a 10 min walk to the main square. Staff were all very nice and the owner speaks great English but communication was a but difficult when he was not there. Not a problem if you speak French though!

This place is located ideally for those who want to be close to the medina but still treasure a quiet environment. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated...just sitting around in the courtyard next to the fireplace and admiring the colourful surroundings was an experience. The breakfast is lavishly presented, service is friendly and the riad offers several additional amenities such as a Moroccan wine if you want to relax in the evening, a traditional dinner, etc

The Riad was beautiful, we only stayed there one night before we flew back to London, and it was a perfect chill out where we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff were friendly, although spoke more or less no english, so broken french had to do. The only downside was that we had to leave early in the morning, and when we asked if we could have it early (as it was included) the was no effort to accommodate this. I would recommend this Riad to friends.

It's a very nice place with beautiful rooms and very comfortable too. Location couldn't be any better, so close to Jemaa el-Fna (in walking distance). They give free mint teas each time. Too bad the wifi was limited at certain area and the tv in our room was broken at the last day.
