The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The hostel is split in to two separate Riads, we had the private room in the second building. There is only one set of keys so a member of staff lets you in which can have it's downside, equally means that security is pretty high. We found that the Riad picked up every bit of noise so those wanting an early night after walking around the Souks all day might be kept awake later than liked by others in the building. Stay again if in a group.

Staying at Riad Massin was amazing. The facilities are very good and as soon as you enter you feel like home. The staff is always willing to help you and they give you all the tips you need. They even take you to eat awesome Berber burgers! The location is perfect as it it very easy to find and in a calm area, so that you can also relax. We will for sure go back to marrakesh and definitely stay at Riad Massin.

I highly recommend this Riad for stay. Just 15 minutes walking from Jemaa Square and 2 minutes from the bus station. Nice and helpful staff and the Riad is wonderful!!! I came for first time to this Riad two years ago and now I have repeated. 10/10 !!! :D

DeutschEnglischFranzösisch I'm often in this riad, but this time I was surprised because it has been remodeled very nicely. Still, I've met the same members and the atmosphere very friendly as always: Wonderful. Thanks to everybody there. I will come back.

The family were very hospitable and made you feel like part of the family allowing us to visit the local hamman with them, and cooking tagine with the women. The hostel was very clean, and very traditional so you felt like you we having a true Moroccan experience rather than being a run of the mill tourist destination. Could not have found a better place to stay in marrakech!

Riad Massin was quite good. Wifi, towels included, 2 euro breakfasts. My main problem was that there were no lockers or locks for the door. Private rooms could be padlocked, but as I was in a shared room there was no way of locking it. Also, every time I wanted to go to the hostel I had to go to the sister hostel around the corner and ask them to let me in as there were no keys to the hostel. However, the 2 guys who run the hostel were extremely helpful and friendly. They made my stay great :)

My friends and I just came back from Marrakech and our stay in Riad Massin. I have to say the stay at this hostel was part of our unforgettable Moroccan experience: from the easy pick up at the airport by Massin (the owner) himself to always ready to help Ibrahim and cheerful Khadijia and Fatima. They took great care of us as though we were part of their families. The hostel itself is cosy and clean. It has all basic necessities (clean bed and towels, internet, lockers, nice kitchen you can use for cooking

We had a great stay! Riad Massin was the optimal place to begin our journey through Morocco. Thank you Aziz, Ibrahim and everybody else at Riad Massin!

Great staff who cared about our enjoyment and security. Our room overlooked the lobby in the middle of the hostel and it was loud at night. Our hostel room was also very cold. However, very comfy beds, pillows and blankets made up for it. Great value for money. Not impressed with the shower situation (no shower stall so the whole bathroom gets wet). Overall pleasant stay!

We stayed at Riad Massin for 5 nights and LOVED it! It's in a great location (it may be tricky to find the first time, although we rang the hostel and someone came out onto the main street to meet us) and is great value for money. The local knowledge the staff provide is excellent. The staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough to help us. We were sad to leave them and the hostel! We will definitely be recommending Riad Massin to friends!

Riad Massin offers the best of two worlds, traditional Riad (a much better job was done renovating the Riad than in many other 'hostel style' riads in Marrekech) and social and easy-going hostel. The staff was always helpful, especially the ladies who offered informal cooking lessons and took us to the local hammam (our best experience on this trip!). The (minor) cons: the breakfast was more expensive and had less choices than many cafes, and not all offered excursions were actually available.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff are super helpful and very kind - I wish I could have stayed longer. Great location and very good value for money. One tip though, it is very hard to find - so if you find yourself hesitating down a backstreet, you are probably in the right place!

Staff was excellent! So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel is easy to find, centrally located, and secure. The beds are comfy too! It has a homey common area and the 2€ breakfasts are worth the money. The only improvements would be to fix the hot water situation in the shower and keep the water from flooding the floor in the shower! Thanks for a nice stay!

Great place with short walking distance away from everything, yet not nearly as 24/7 noisy as other hostels are. Excellent staff that speaks perfect english and are crazy hospitable and social. Definitely recommended.

The staff make this place the treasure that it is. They were so helpful and thoughtful as well as a wealth of information about traveling in morocco. I felt safe, my valuables were secure, and I woke up each day feeling rested.

The riad itself is handsome, but it needs cleaning and maintenance--only the minimum is done. Hajj, Aziz, and Brahim are mostly friendly and helpful, but we had some problems that we will spell out on Trip Advisor, since this site gives us only 500 characters to review this riad. Beware that you may be put into a different property, a house next door, which has to be opened by a staff member at the main property every time you want to go inside. The price is low, but the place needs work.
