We had a great stay at the hostel, first and foremost because of the wonderful staff and atmosphere. The first night we didn't sleep all that well, since there was a lot of activity going on until late and the rooms are bit noisy. The second night was a lot more quiet. Even though we didn't stay at the hostel anymore, the ladies took us to the hammam a few days later. It was a great experience alltogether and I can recommand a stay at this hostel!

Great place and amazing staff. People were really nice and courteous. As soon as I arrived they explained me how things works in the city, what was really helpful. The rooms and baths were always clean. During all the time that I spent at the hostel there was a staff member around to help me with anything I needed. They can help you to find all kind of services. The girls in the kitchen and the guys at the reception interact all the time with the guests creating a great atmosphere.

This place feels like home. The staff are extremly friendly and they welcome you with open arms. They will help you with anything and gives lots of advise. The atmosphere is laid back and the roof terasse is excellent for relaxing. Breakfast is really really good and you'll probably enjoy it while joking around with the staff or the other visitors.

A home away from home! From the minute i stepped into the Riad i loved it. Great welcome , beautiful architecture and best staff in the world! Khadija ( both ) , Latifa, Brendan, Ibrahim all were absolutely excellent i enjoyed every minute, and ofcourse the main man Aziz made my stay unforgettable. I didnt even need to leave the hostel on some nights, enough comic relief there!! I might just come back to morocco just to stay at that Riad! Thumbs up, keep up the high standards.!

I just have nice words from this hostel and its staff. Everything was amazing, we stayed for 3 nights and then came back for 2 more nights because we loved it. Ibrahim, Asis, Brandon and all the cookers were amazing with us. They even prepared some special bread for me because I am a celiac, and helped us a lot with tips, nice words and smiles. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Marrakech. Also, the Riad is much more beautiful than in the pictures, it will amaze you! Thanks guys!

The riad is absolutely gorgeous, and we especially enjoyed lounging in the rooftop tent! Aziz was really friendly and was always ready to greet us with a smile. The location is a bit of a walk to the main attractions in Marrakech, but it wasn't bad to get out of the mad haggling and noise of the souks for a little respite anyway. All in all, a great place to stay!

Riad Massin was the BEST! The staff was like family, the atmosphere was conducive to meeting new people, and the building is beautiful, clean, and in a good location. I ended up making friends from all over the world, and opted to stay in sometimes just because I was having so much fun hanging out at the hostel! The staff was also very helpful and accommodating, the rooms were great, the rooftop view is lovely, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

It is a really super hostel. It is located within walking distance of the Square Jamal el Fna, but in a very typical area, much less touristy and in the middle of a local market place. The building is awesome, very arabian and typically decorated too. It is also very quiet inside but with a great terrace where you can smoke shisha and have a drink with other travellers. But the best is the friendliness of the staff. Specialli Aziz who is really helpful, speaks good English and French.Thank you !

I loved every minute of my stay at Riad Massin! Thanks to Aziz, Brahim & all the staff for making our trip to Marrakech amazing! They are always ready to help with anything - from trips to the Hammam, lessons on Berber culture & language, to hanging out drinking tea in the tent on the terrace, we had such a fantastic time, we overstayed by a week! People complaining about lack of toilet paper etc. probably don't know much about hostel life - this Riad has a great atmosphere & very helpful staff.

The staff were friendly but the morning breakfast ladies were very loud, often arguing aggressively for an hour at a time until one would leave in a huff. The rooms are very close to the common areas and it was noisy. The worst point was I never had a hot shower while I was there! apart from that, it was good. Beds were comfortable, internet was reliable. I suppose I should not complain as I was only paying £5 per night, but for a good nights sleep, relaxing stay I would have paid more.
