About Riad Medina Azahara
Riad Medina Azahara is a nice and relaxing Hostel Riad Chain placed in the medina of Marrakech a few minutes walking only from the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks (markets), it is composed of 2 independent Riads placed in the same area but they have different addresses.
The first one (no dorms there) is in derb dabachi derb jemaa 17 medina Marrakech and the 2nd one (private and dorms are here) is at derb dabachi derb Moulay Abdelkader 38 Medina Marrakech, coming from the main square Jemaa el Fnaa the first Hostel is on the 3rd on the right and the new one is on the 2nd one on the left (the two streets are almost one in front with the other).
The first Riad is composed of 5 double-triple rooms (Bouchra, Zara, Ghadia, Fatima and Amal) each one equipped of an en-suite bathroom, a central Patio decorated with Moorish furniture and a plunge pool in the center, a nice living room and an open air living room corner cool in summer time and very cosy during winter season as well as 2 dorms (10 beds and 6 beds dorms) composed of single beds with 1 common shower and 1 bathroom. There is also a Hammam and a massage area as well as a big very nice terrace well equipped for sunbathe.
The second one is composed of 3 double/Triple/Quadruple suites (Abdullah, Samira and Youssef) each equipped of an en-suite bathroom with shower or bathtub, fireplace and a living room corner. Breakfast is served on the Patio as well as on the nice terrace with view of the Medina.
The 2 Riads also each have a nice terrace where to enjoy breakfast under the Berber tent or simply sunbathing and drinking a refreshing cold-hot Mint tea served to all our Guests.
The typical Moroccan style that has been used for the details and furniture gives to this Hostels Chain a real Moroccan soul.

We require payment of the outstanding balance in cash (Euro, Dollars or English pounds) on arrival. The rate we apply for payment in local currency is as follow:
1 euro = 12 dhs
1 dollar = 9 dhs
1 GBP = 14 dhs
Please note our cancellation policy:
30 - 21 day prior the arrival the hostel will charge you 30% from the total amount.
20 -11 days- 50 % from the total.
10 days -arrival 100% from the total amount.
Changes and Cancellations made on arrival will be charged for the full amount as stated on your booking.
E-mail us if you need airport pick up (15 euros one way max 2 people) or please let us know your approximate arrival time after you receive your confirmation e-mail.
We organize a special Moroccan dinner buffet twice a week (10 Euros per person beverages not included) with Ganoua music!
We organize 2-3-4- days tours to the desert and half or full day excursion in the surrounding's of Marrakesh.
