I deeply regret being there. Owner often tries to rip you off, 20 MAD for a tea, no way. Very dark, most of the light bulbs did not work, shower head was broken, cold water is the rule. Breakfast is just bread (nice bread though), butter and tea. Wifi doesn't reach the rooms, at the lounge connection always breaks. No menu (food and drinks), neither enough activities/tours available. They hardly speak English. Don't trust the pics. Not confy with their family around. Cleaners are nice people!

If you're okay with no hot water, rooms with no air and lots of noise, Riad Rahba is fine. It's fun to be located right in the middle of the souk but that comes with a price (getting losts easily, early morning/late night noise and the hassle of stepping out your front door right into the souk where people hassle you to purchase things. My biggest complaint was the noise inside the Riad. Babies crying, women shouting, people talking - a whole family lived in the riad.

First of all this is a really cheap hostel so that's a plus. The location is awesome as well. However there are more cons than advantages. First of all the warm welcome wasn't there. We had to pay directly and it felt something like a questioning by customs. Thereby the sheets were used and the room was dirty. The bathroom (which is included) wasn't cleaned in ages. Sleeping was horrible. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay right in the heart of Marrakesh go for it, but be warned.

The Riad is very beautiful, however, if ariving at night can be a bit of a task to find as the moment you look lost you acquire a group of young people trying to find out where you are going and expecting money to show you. Once you arrive the welcome is lovely with traditional mint tea, and the breakfast is fantastic!

Breakfast was promised to be included but when we asked for it in the morning, we were asked to pay for it (instead of having it included as promised)

Riad Rahba is excellently situated and a classic riad. This is a family's home as well as a hostel which is a nice addition. The host is a unique man- lovable in his own way! For the price you can't expect much...

Unfortunately, I had to postpone my trip, and was unable to stay at the Riad. However, I had several email conversations with the owner / manager, and he was very helpful in providing me with information regarding the rooms, etc. and I will be choosing this Riad to stay when I visit Marrakech later this year.

Great location for shopping in the souks, and cheap price. However when they showed us to the room the bathroom was wet and obviously someone had used the shower recently. Pretty sure the sheets weren't changed since the last guest either, since only one side of the sheet (not the bed, the actual bed sheet that touches you) smelled of sweat. That was gross. We asked for info on a trip to the desert and the older guy wouldn't leave us alone about booking it. Wouldn't stay there again.

Good price with nice breakfast and location easy to find. The family is really nice, they helped even with mending my bag. They also propose circuits for deserts.

Mustafa and Azziz (the guardians) are great. The property itself is totally adequate. It's not luxurious, but neither are the prices. It suited my needs completely - and is very centrally located within the medina. I found it pleasant enough that I have stayed there two more times during quick layovers in Marrakech between other side trips.
