aside from a slightly cold shower, this was brilliant really. Great host and good breakfasts, helpful as well. Only people there for two days and was mostly peaceful.

Bad experience. Mustafa was at reception when we arrived at 1pm but that was the only time we saw him. He gave no info about the riad and no map. The riad is beautiful but the towels were wet, the room was freezing, the heater and internet didn't work, and there was nobody in the riad to ask for help. Mustafa was unwilling to give us anything for breakfast because we had a flight at 9am - not even a banana. If you have guests paying to stay, you need to be present and helpful. DO NOT recommend.
I had bad time for many reason like, i felt sick and I wrote that there was a restaurant inside, meanwhile that isn't true,So I was force to go eating in other place with fever. The Hostel is really far from the real interesting part of medina. So you're forced to spend a lot of taxi to go in the centre. The owner pretty mannerless.

The hostel is good (location, price, room size, etc), but there were a lack of informations from the hostel staff. Nobody was there when we arrived on the first day and then we we managed to get inside nobody informed us about the place, thing to see, breakfast time, do or dont, how to get around. I think a little more communication from the staff and the hostel could be very great ! Also maybe organised with some thrusted people some tour of the medina would be very good for futur guest.
The riad is on the other side of the medina from the main gate- this is great if you want a more local experience less bother etc. The room we stayed in had a beautiful ceiling and the whole place had nice traditional features and laid back atmosphere. The breakfast was bigger than others we've had and for the price all in a really good deal
When we arrived we found out that they were overbooked and that they will arrange other accomodation for us. We were at first sceptic but in a few minutes we ended up in a hotel (Hotel Batha) which was great (for the same price of course). The owner of Riad Razane was very friendly and made sure that we are ok.
