The hostel is good (location, price, room size, etc), but there were a lack of informations from the hostel staff. Nobody was there when we arrived on the first day and then we we managed to get inside nobody informed us about the place, thing to see, breakfast time, do or dont, how to get around. I think a little more communication from the staff and the hostel could be very great ! Also maybe organised with some thrusted people some tour of the medina would be very good for futur guest.

The riad is on the other side of the medina from the main gate- this is great if you want a more local experience less bother etc. The room we stayed in had a beautiful ceiling and the whole place had nice traditional features and laid back atmosphere. The breakfast was bigger than others we've had and for the price all in a really good deal

When we arrived we found out that they were overbooked and that they will arrange other accomodation for us. We were at first sceptic but in a few minutes we ended up in a hotel (Hotel Batha) which was great (for the same price of course). The owner of Riad Razane was very friendly and made sure that we are ok.

Beautiful, almost felt like royalty staying here!

Breakfast really good. We arrived very early one morning and although had to wake the owner up to let us in, we were allowed into our room to sleep having been on a night bus. Only a short walk to medina, can be a bit confusing at first.

Our room wasnt ready and then we got small one that is obviouslly not in use with broken bed and almost nothing else. Tomorrow we got another one, as we asked for it. If we didint ask I guess nobody would give as the one we payed for. That one was clean, but old and there is problem with humidity visible on walls and in bathroom. Owner looked helpfull but everything he is doing is making you feel lost in medina while taking you to expensive shops where he gets provision.

The staff is very kind and helpful, also in organizing guides, visiting restaurants, supermarkets, etc. We appreciated the flexibility in organizing lunches and diners on request. In the period we visited this small, traditionally Maroccan family hotel (beginnig of April), it was relatively cold in the rooms and courtyard. So bring warm clothing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Razane Fez, the room was good and breakfast on the terrace was lovely! We were also particularly impressed with Ali, the owner, who picked up up after getting in to a scam taxi, and drove us to a restaurant & back one evening. As a group of girls it was nice to feel safe in an unfamiliar city. Thanks

Lovely patio, but with settees dotted with bird droppings, and tables with crumbs from days before. The suit was both nice AND clean, but with blocked drain (which the host took care of quickly), scarce toiletries, and no hairdryer. The rooftop terrace is sorely neglected–made us wonder if the possibility for dining on the terrace was even realistic. The hosts seemed very nice, but lack organizational skills. With better organization and maintenance, this place could be tremendously charming.

The guy of the service and the boss are very lazy and they only are nice when someone new come to see the hotel, then they make the "theater" that everything is nice... We ask for two double room and they put us toghether in one. AlsoWe had no sheets in two beds for one night, we had to insist very mucho for this and the towels. But the place is nice and some of this things maybe are normal in marocco hotels.
