Great, beautiful hostel. It's more like a bed and breakfast. The inside is beautiful, with huge rooms and nicely sized bathrooms. Pros: close to the medina, good breakfast, hot water, beautiful architecture, look for restaurants on Trip Advisor, it's close. Cons: don't get the cab transfer they offer, it's only 15-30 MAD if you get it by yourself, internet doesn't really work, not hard to find from Place Batha, but the directions here on the website are wrong. Ask for someone to help you out!

One of the best places we ever stayed in. Incredibly beautiful, super nice staff, huge, awesome rooms and very close to everything you want to see. We were sad to leave this place!!

Great location - just outside the Medina and walking distance to some great cheap restaurants near the Blue gate. Breakfast good - eggs and bread, coffee. Beautiful old house - rooms are huge. Air con in our room did not work so they changed for us. 4 poster beds - hot water. Washed my clothes in sink and was able to hang them out on terrace roof clothes line which is great for travellers. Wifi not that great - quite weak - able to use it in the inner courtyard. left at 5:45am - takeaway b

A very nice, quiet and affordable place just outside of hectic souks of Old Town Fes. Great to have nearby car access and helpful and friendly staff

It was an excellent hostel really really beautiful. The people was really nice and it was perfect. It is a little bit hard to find but it is in the Medina and it gives you a great atmosphere.

The rooms are huge! The AC in the first room we got was out of order. We were given a new room immediately. We lost our way trying to find the hotel. We only found it with the help of a very kind Moroccan. The place is relatively clean except for one Roach we found in the WC. There was no sighting of other pests after we got rid of the first. Breakfast was good and filing. I would still go back again,

We found that staying here was very convenient, there was a mosque nearby and a few resturants that were cheap enough. The free breakfast was reasonable, and the staff very friendly. In fact, the lady who seemed like she was running the place went out of her way to arrange our activities, and the taxi drivers and tour guide that we arranged through the Riad were all punctual and friendly. Our room was nice, it had a really nice Moroccan feel to it. Definitely recommended.

Riad Sara is a very charracteristic Riad, with all its decoration and style. The rooms are big and clean. The common area is clean and good too. But the stuff definetly has to changed its manners. They are very distance with the guests, they not even has a map of the city, and need to speak another thing different from French. If your looking just for accomodation this is the perfect place, but if you are looking for fun, maybe you must look for any other place.

Very beautiful Riad situated right near the Medina. A must if visiting Morocco. This particular place is amazing value. Feels like luxury. Much more of a personal experience though.

Good location. Great character. Very friendly staff. Miss Ouidad, the owner/manager, was kind enough to visit the CTM bus station in La Ville Nouvelle on different days to buy our group bus tickets to the various locations we were to depart to following our stay. Breakfast is included, it was served whenever we wished to show up for it. Orange juice or mint tea on arrival and whenever you ask for it. Good wifi, though it only works in the main atrium.

On paper, this riad ticks all the boxes - good location, large rooms, beautiful interior.... but something was missing... It felt like a large impersonal hotel rather than a friendly welcoming riad. It was the little things: upon arrival we were shown our room and left to it without much of a welcome, our a/c was broken but there was no apology or mention of a potential discount, at breakfast I asked for another juice and was told I would have to pay for it, early one morning one of the staff turned the ste

This Riad was excellent, the building itself is really nice and the owner was very kindful. You can also take a bath in the room! The location is hard to tell but most of the people would take a taxi from airport or train station,so it wouldn't be a problem.Farthermore it's not far away from the medina. \when I asked, the owner recommended me a nice restaurant, although it wasn't cheap it was great,it gave us a nice experience.I recommend both this riad and the restaurant.

Staff answer your messages so promptly that you are under the impression they have a bell connect to their inbox. Location is convenient, not far from the main entrance to the medina.

Beautiful building (inside). just 5 minutes walk from Place Batha with taxis and Porte Bleu with medina streets. Good breakfats. Would go back.

The riad was beautiful and the location was great but the staff did not seem well aquainted with how to direct someone in Fez. Plus the guide that they hired for me only took me to shops where I was given the hard sell. For the money I paid I was hoping for more cultural and historical information

Yes it is very expensive, but you get a beautiful room with great bed and bathroom of ur own, full breakfast and very professional staffs; plus you can sample the real Moroccan architecture from this very beautiful riad. They will help you with almost everything, although it requires additional cost (of course!).The location is actually easily reached from the Batha square, but u just have to know the way.Easiest way is to call the staff from the square and they will pick u up.

This was my favourite riad in Morocco. The riad was so beautiful, it felt almost palatial and was a real haven of peace from the chaos of the medina. . The female manager seemed particularly helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was great, we would have loved to have tried a meal at the riad had we had the time. I would definitely recommend this riad.
