We have just returned from a wonderful week long City break in Marrakech staying at the Riad Venezia, a compact and authentically Moroccan Riad in the depths of the vibrant and colourful Souk district in Marrakech. The staff were smiling and friendly and spoke really good English. Our two favourites were Mohamed and Ahmed who looked after us so well during the whole of our stay. The Riad's breakfast was amazing and the dinners at night tasty traditional Tagines! Thank you for a great time. xxx

Very helpful staff, really nice breakfast, but difficult to find the place, because they have no name on the door saying that it is a hostel/riad/whatever...

Really hard to find. And there also is no sign on the door.. Super nice people, they also arranged a tour we took too the Sahara for 3 days, it was great and safe. Super reliable staff, very friendly, speak englisch fine, they are not pushy, they are polite and give you enough privacy. It was a nice quiet friendly and safe stay at Riad Venezia

Maybe a better explanation on how to locate the riad would be good. Bathroom was clean but not well maintain.

We had a great time at the Riad Venezia. The staff was so nice and the atmosphere and place very cosy and beautiful. The breakfast was probably the best! (Creps, tea, coffee, jam, butter, cheese, cake... Just delicious). The only thing is that we though that there was hairdrier and gel and shampoo (in internet they said that they provided you) but there were not in the end. Neither TV in the bedroom but you don't need at all in Marrakech, because you have enough things to see.

It called "deLux", but it's far from any luxury. There was no wi-fi. even though guy from reception kept saying that its gonna be fixed next day and on the next day the same story. The bedding wasn't changed when we arrived. Location is very good, closed to the center of Medina.

The riad is quiet with a peaceful atmosphere (in Winter) and breakfast really good. The staff were particularly friendly, gave very good advice and were efficient in arranging trips. The riad (one of a group of 3 of the same name) is in a good location, not far from the main square, with lots of interesting shops, food stalls, etc en route. There were some slightly annoying hustlers close to the riad who tried to entice us to the 'berber market' - just politely ignore them or inform riad staff.

The staff at Riad Venezia were so welcoming and kind. We were offered our choice of the available rooms, and the location was very close to Jemaa el Fna square. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! We had a great stay, thank you!!

The staff at Riad Venezia friendly and efficient. They serve a delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall a wonderful place to stay for a few nights.

Very nice riad within 5-10 minutes walking distance from Djema el Fna Square. A lot of people didn't like the location but we throught it was perfect to get away from the busy streets that way you have a mixture of both busy & relaxation. The breakfast is great that consists of eggs, pancakes, bread, cakes, jam, cheese, tea & coffee the perfect way to start your day. The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed trying to communicate in French & Arabic. As with all riads try to get a room upstairs.

Once we found the place (there is no sign on the door so make sure you know the address - the hostelworld directions are very good) it was a lovely traditional riad, very quiet and peaceful but only 10 minute walk (if that) from the main square. We liked it so much we came back after going to the Atlas Mountains for a few days. Breakfast is great too!

The place is beautiful and the staff very nice. It is a little difficult to find but not so bad. Breakfast was very good, place was clean there was a funky smell in the bathroom but I think it is part of the old pipes. I like this place.

This Riad was the best part of our stay in Marrakech. The staff were amazing and always ready to help out with any queries. The rooms were very comfortable and cool, in a lovely Moroccan style (especially the bathroom). They have a sister Riad for those with a slightly bigger budget and who want larger rooms, but we loved the cozy feel of Venezia. A 10min walk to the main square and right next to the Souks, the location was great. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing (the dinners too!).

We had a nice stay, good room, good breakfast and very helpful team. It is just very difficult to find as there is no sign at all even on the door.

Great place! Well located, very clean, and extremely friendly staff. We came back later to stay again. It's pretty hard to find, though, so we were happy to have asked for airport pick-up (even though it is kind of expensive).

We had a very nice stay. We were the only guests so it was perfectly quiet. Staff was very nice and helpful and gave advises for the visit and even teached me some Marrocan card games while drinking a glass of tea and relaxing after a hard sight seeing day. The description of the way is not wrong as mentiioned in other comments, but I agree that it is nearly impossible to find on your own. We asked for an airport pick up so that we got there without any problems and it cost 150DH.
