Met some other travellers in Xaeon who recommended this hostel and I see why as its beautiful, charming and well organised. The chatty staff go out of their way to make you have a super time and there are lots of activities you can do here such as henna, cooking, yoga and even belly dancing, not that we did that but there were some clients having a private lesson and they said it was fun. The Riad Verus was an ideal choice for a cheap getaway accommodation in Fes. Very clean with good service and nice food served. Greeted warmly by Noor and the rest of his staff and made to feel comfortable and well looked after from the start. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone and everyone.

Came to Morocco with huge expectations of what I had heard about Riads and Riad Verus does not dissapoint, its in a great location and within easy walking distance of some lovely Old buildings and nice restaurants. The staff all speak good english and Noor the owner was very generous with his time and advices. He showed us up to the Tombs and we had laughs with him in the evening on the roof terrace which was beautifully lit and you can listen to music up there. The other guests seemed to be having a good

A great choice for me and my partner, really had a lovely stay. The hostel is charming and in a good central spot. Wifi excellent and there is a computer the guests can use too. The breakfast was delicious and filling.

I stayed at this hostel 2 years ago and it has really improved, there are new and improved bathrooms, communal and private in the suites and one of the dorms, the AC is quieter and stronger, the illumination in the Riad is better and the streets surrounding the property have cleaned up and there is flood lighting and foliage around the hotel which makes the welcoming approach delightful. Very good hostel in a very good location with excellent facilities, the roof terrace and views were incredible and there is a bar and plenty of activities too, The guided tour of the Medina on offer was well worth it and unlikely we would have seen so much of the Medina had we not elected to go on it. The staff are English speakers and natives too and the atmosphere was warm.

Excellent customer care and clean and tidy bedrooms with maid service, breakfast included and fresh linen and towels in the spotless bathrooms, so nice to be in a hostel which feels like a 4 star hotel.

All of us had a really great stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality offered by the staff and management at the Riad Verus. It was a fantastic choice and I strongly recommend this hostel to anyone on any budget, preference or status. It really is a diamond.

I had a really good stay with my friends at this lovely Riad and would love to stay here again if the opportunity arose. Perfect place to spend a great vacation. The small roof pool is great as are the views and the ambience.

I spent six fantastic nights at Riad Verus. The riad is beautiful, very clean, and equipped with very friendly staff who are more than willing to help you with whatever you need to make your time in Fez more enjoyable. It is located a mere five minute walk from the medina, in a safe neighbourhood; I whole heartedly recommend Riad Verus to anybody traveling to Fez!

Fabulous location and excellent Moroccan style decor, well colour coordinated and a treat for the eye. Service was good and the rooms of a high standard, excellent value for money, try and get the Marcus suite as its amazing and very large and the bathtub can fit about 4.....I think. When I arrived I was in awe of the place and am delighted to have stayed here. 2 of our friends were down the road in another Riad as Riad Verus was fully booked and they did not have the same excellent experience as me! 5 of us stayed at this brilliant hostel in a good location in the Medieval City of FEZ and we had a great time, they organiselots of activities, have plenty of recommendations on how to spend your time well in Fez. Noor who owns the place is a nice guy and takes the time to get to know his guests and makes every feel well cared for. A very popular choice indeed, the Riad was full when I tried to book originally so I changed my dates in order to stay at R.V!! FANTASTIC. Dont look elsewhere, BOOK IT! :) :) I really had a great time.

Fantastic choice and offers great value for money. The staff was all very hospitable and the service and kindness much appreciated. The tours on offer were fun and relaxed and the bedrooms were clean. The hostel really is beautiful and a great find!

This was an excellent place to stay. It was very clean, had many wonderful amenities, was in a great location and the service was superb. In retrospect, I'm still shocked at how cheap it was. Check out the views from the roof, they're amazing and its a great place to hang out and take in the city at night.

Excellent hostel in an envious location in the Medina of Fes. Lovely bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms even in the 3 person dorm room, the other shower rooms looked clean aswell and there was always hot water whatever the time you showered. Lively atmosphere and plenty of other travellers to mix with. Good place for couples and individuals alike.

Just a very ordinary hostel. Nothing great about it. Our doube room was very nice though. Somewhat expensive consudering its morocko. Some fellow backpackers told us they had gone out with this guy who claims he owns the hostel and he had tried to sell them trips and stuff after getting them wasted. He seemed dodgy when we talked to him as well. Wouldnt stay here again.

The people here are very friendly and helpful, and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The receptionist spoke English well, and though not in smack in the centre of the Medina, it is an easy walk from it.

Riad Verus was very easy to find. Just tell the cab driver that you want to Place Bat-Ha, go down the Rue El-Douh and than look for the signs and follow the arrows. The Riad itself was very secure, quiet and just beautiful. We felt like Sultans. ;) and had a very pleasant stay. Thanks also for the excellent service.
