Managers were very polite and courteous, available for any information. The room where I was didn't have a window and there was practically no space between the bed and the walls ... despite being a double room in two there would have been impossible to stay! Good position to reach the main attractions of the city. Close to KL Sentral (5 minutes by taxi).

It's definitely great hostel, clean, nice room and good wifi connection. The price is cheap also, it's worthed. Strategic location, about 5 minutes walk from nearest LRT station near chinatown where you can buy anythings at bargain price. The staff, Joy is very friendly. I would like to recommend this hostel to you.

A very friendly hostel in the heart of Chinatown. Staff are very helpful and introduce room mates to each other. Free tea and coffee all day, movies rolling all the time and free wi-fi and computer/Internet access. Dorms are clean and there is a very good atmosphere around the hostel. A very enjoyable stay.

I loved my stay at Ribbon´s! We had a very small room with bunk bed but there was a window, so not that narrow. Though, u don´t need space in your room, when you´re visiting KL! The location was great, just 5 mins walk for two train stations and Puduraya bus station is also close. The staff was very helpfull and even had umbrellas to borrow us. The cleaning lady made my mornings! Always smiling and laughing, though we didn´t speak the same language (:

Good location in China Town, near Pasar Seni LRT/Puduraya bus stn & just above a 24hr shop. Dorm beds have plug socket, wifi was good, clean bedding, aircon in the dorm too and free breakfast which was basic but welcome. One complaint would be the security, some girls complained that a guy had walked in off the street, pretended to be a cleaner, walked into their dorm (when someone was in there) and stole money from the room. Check with staff on check in...

The staff, Sophie and Joy were very very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the common room was very good. The room was clean, but a bit stuffy as there was no window for fresh air. The air conditioning worked fine though. For the money it was a good deal. The location in China Town is pretty good, near the Central Market and subway.

We r very satisfied with one of the staff, Joy, she is very nice n friendly, if we need help she always there to help us except at night. The hostel so far is ok, the room is very basic but quite clean n neat. The room has no window so there is no air circulation, a little bit smelly and there was bugs on the sofa in the lobby. So far the hostel was ok but it still need improvement.

Very small room. Only just fit a small double bed in. Was all we needed though really plus you are staying at a hostel. Aircon was a plus. KL was really humid and hot when we were there. Staff at Ribbon Stayz were really helpful and friendly.

busy area, nice staff, rooms no windows, no bed bugs, secure, shared bathrooms awful..great for a short stay in china town, but a bit too run down for extended stays.

Well you get what you pay for. This definitely seemed like a party hostel. The lady, Joy, had a hard time finding my booking. There was a loud party going on in the lounge and outside the front doors. People were loud in the halls until 4am. One shower wasn't working and the light was broken, one bathroom/shower door didn't lock so people walked in on you and the other shower/bathroom's toilet wasn't working. In our room we couldn't turn the aircon down and nearly froze. Just not the best place.

I had to get a refund after being in this Hostel for 15 minutes as the place is disgusting. I could feel the bed bugs biting even as I checked in. Locals are staying at this hostel who are still in bed at 1600 in the afternoon, very strange!! I spoke to a fellow traveller who was staying there and she said she had several items stolen over the course of two days. KL is very poor when it comes to Hostels, try and stay in one of the more expensive ones, its worth the extra money!!!

The woman who ran it was so fake! Trying far too hard to force everyone to have a good time. Lots of people had their stuff stolen whilst staying there, and the staff were pretty much the only suspects. There are far nicer hostels in KL, and really I would avoid staying in KL's Chinatown again, since the cleanliness in all of these hostels are pretty much sub-par.

We sincerely apologies for your unpleasant 4 nights stayed in our guesthouse. We just wanted to make sure that our guest to have good time during their stay here but wasn't an intention to force everyone. FYI, We have our 24 hours running CCTV in our guesthouse and as well as lockers in the dormitory rooms. Thank you.
