Riga Backpackers Hostel Reviews

the hostel is well situated in the city. The staff was very helpful but the room did not lock. In the dorm, the bathroom and the toilet did not lock either. There had no heat, only a small electric space heaters for a dormitory of 14 beds is not enough. I kept the coat in the whole experience. There is no security system base (rooms are lock, lockers for luggage, anyone can input when he wants!)

my reserv. was for 1 in a 10beds room,@my arrival ive been allocate in a empty 16beds room,but with one big problem,no hitting in the room,i went in the reception asking for it,and the girl from the reception went in another room to take one of the oil-electric hitting and i had to lift it in my room,but anyway one electric hitting cant warm up a huge room,so i went to sleep in my friends room,and share the bed with one of them,with the results that i woke up with 32bites from the bedbugs!

The hostel i situated in perfect place because it is in old town, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the cleanliness of the room a lot of dust was in the room on the floor but in general we are satisfied.

Interior rather dark especially on stairways.It's only going to be for backpackers soon so you won't have 'hotel' guests complaining about noisy backpackers. Otherwise, fine and very central
