Only bad thing I have to say is that the towels were way too small. And we are small girls, I wonder how bigger people manage with them :P Everything else was great :)

Very nice hostel close to the old town. Staff was really helpful. Hostel was very well maintained and very clean. Would certainly recommend this to other people.

I thing thi is so important!!! Riga Hostel has recently moved into a fresh, new location! Our old address was Marstalu street 12, but the NEW address is MERKELA STREET 1 (the distance between them is only 800 meters).

Riga Hostel moved from the Old Town to across from the Main Train station. In many ways this is good, but I do miss the Old Town charm on my daily walks as I just stepped out and was in Old Town. Now I had to walk a few blocks. All in all I enjoyed my stay there and if and when I am back in Riga, I will stay there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights over NYE. Hostel had just moved and things were being added, but they're putting in a lot of work. Rooms are decent, some rooms had hard beds, others were fine. Busy road outside but the windows keep out the noise. Not much of a common room but there are a few couches. Security ok - gate locks at night so you have to press the doorbell, but there is a 24hr receptionist. Could use some lockers in the rooms. I'd visit this place again, not great but not bad either.

It's sweet place in the center of Riga with nice staff and great location. We had great time here!

It turnes out, my friends'wallet got stolen at the airport or at our private two person bedroom at the hostel. The more we think about it, the more all the evidence is pointin us in the direction of the bedroom. I don't say, it's the staff; I couldn't imagine that. I only wanted you to know, this happened probably at the hostel. Besides this everything was great!
