Hi, I was there on last Friday and Saturday nights with 9 friends. We had a very nice time in Riga and at your hostel, but I had a bad surprise today. We had initially booked for 3 nights and 14 people, but due to a strike on Monday in Belgium, only 10 of us eventually travelled and we had to fly back to Brussels on Sunday. I had paid a LVL22 deposit on 6 January (see below), but we could not pay the rest on Sunday since you had a computer breakdown. I've just found out that LVL205 have been transfered

Location is perfect, very close to stop of the airport bus and train station, only 5 minutes walk from the old city. Very friendly personnel. Rooms are tidy, massage shower is available. Would like to recommend anyone.

Very good hostel for backpackers. The prize-quality relation is excellent. Very well located, right next to the bus station and the old town. The staff was very nice, specially the irish man in reception, who will recommend you a lot of things (like what to see or where to go for take a drink or two). For this prize, would go again.

This hostel is located above a nice bar with nice staff. The room was basic and the bathrooms were a let-down. On arrival the toilet room floor was wet (there was a soaked towel). The shower room was dirty and smelled. I showered in the morning right after the cleaning lady gave the shower room a quick sweep but still didn't like it much—particularly, the mat in the shower room looked unhygienic. Also concerning was the condensation on the windows and black spots in the corners of the ceiling.

Perfect Hostel with excellent location. 2 min from the Bus to/from the Airport and only minuts away from all the fun the Old town has to offer.. Best staff ever and your check-in is IN the actual Bar :) Only hazzle for us was that the 6 doorm we stayed in was located on the 5th floor (with no lift) But it was a good way to ''sober up'' after too many Riga Balzams before bed tho ;)
