Riga Old Town Hostel & Backpackers Pub Reviews

The bar at hostel was ok. We didnt get the room we had booked, with private bath and toilet. So we had to share and shared toilet couldnt flush and there were no toiletpaper.

The atmosphere in this hostel is nice, but bad facilities and lack of cleanliness bring it to nough. It looks like hosts doesn't care about it - bathrooms are old, full of fungs on the sailings, at arrival water from bathroom flodded half of our room. They advertise sauna everywhere - but it's broken and it's hasn't been cleaned for ages. Promised free wifi is only at the reception, bar was without beer for 3days and the whole hostel looks like it needs to be cleaned.

Especially the hostel bar was very good. And the beer we got there.

Once again I stayed at the Riga Old town hostel. It is awesome place and the staff is even greater! I highly recommend!

The smell in the room was unpleasant and the bed linen where old. Also the hostel doesn't serve breakfast.

brilliant hostel, brilliant staff and a lot of fun! This hostel is the place to be in Riga :) be prepared to get stuck there a bit longer than planned ;) It´s just awesome!

Great place to stay near the Bus Station and has kitchen in the basement and a small bar/pub as the reception..

Great place, staff were all awesome and helped us out with where we should go for sightseeing as well as food and drinks. If I go back to Riga I'd definitely stay here again.

No heaters in the kitchen when -20 degres outside is a little problem No computers

Hi, I was there on last Friday and Saturday nights with 9 friends. We had a very nice time in Riga and at your hostel, but I had a bad surprise today. We had initially booked for 3 nights and 14 people, but due to a strike on Monday in Belgium, only 10 of us eventually travelled and we had to fly back to Brussels on Sunday. I had paid a LVL22 deposit on 6 January (see below), but we could not pay the rest on Sunday since you had a computer breakdown. I've just found out that LVL205 have been transfered

I enjoyed my stay very much- mostly due to the very nice staff and will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Location is perfect, very close to stop of the airport bus and train station, only 5 minutes walk from the old city. Very friendly personnel. Rooms are tidy, massage shower is available. Would like to recommend anyone.

Friendly staff and a very good value for money

Very good hostel for backpackers. The prize-quality relation is excellent. Very well located, right next to the bus station and the old town. The staff was very nice, specially the irish man in reception, who will recommend you a lot of things (like what to see or where to go for take a drink or two). For this prize, would go again.
