Great clean place with double glazing and aircon to keep out the noise of Khaosan Road whilst being in the thick of it. Pool is a great plus for the hot steamy Bangkok days only thing it's missing is a small bar and chill out area by the pool and they'd Make a killing from it!

Staff were personable but not overfriendly, given the yobbos they have to deal with on a daily basis!! Simply clean, convenient, faceless place to sleep right in the middle of Khao San Rd!!! Can't beat that! Oh...don't forget the POOL.. great Pool..complete with spurting elephant !!!!!!!

Reception staff were a bit unorganized and a bit slow to resolve a misunderstanding with our reservation, but other than that they were friendly enough and apologetic.

One of the very few hotels in the tourist area with a pool on the roof. Price is not horrendous, but I advise staying in the Khao San area only if you like to stay in the middle of the drinking/partying/shopping action. The street does not sleep and I can imagine that with windows into it, neither would you. For me, the roof pool was worth it.

I have stayed here twice now and not without reason. The first time was due to a suggestion from a close friend and I found the Hotel a perfect start to our trip Bangkok. I feel exactly the same this time around. Perfect positioning on Koah Sahn road and with this in mind also perfectly safe. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The one thing I found a shame was the lack of a laundry service, but hey, with a pool on the roof can I really complain! Perfect for the price you pay.

NICE CLEAN AND BRIGHT ROOM...QUIET AT BACK OF HOTEL AWAY FROM NOISE OF STREET......HAVING THE POOL FACILITY WAS REALLY GOOD IN THAT HEAT. LUGGAGE HOLDING FACILITY ALSO A PLUS FOR TRAVELLERS... HAVING TO PAY COMMISSION ON CREDIT CARD A PAIN....I HAD BOOKED IN ADVANCE FOR SECOND STAY BUT ON ARRIVAL THEY SAID THERE WAS A PROBLEM...WALKED ME TO A NEARBY HOTEL...OK BUT DARK ROOM AND NOT AS NICE. ALL IN ALL A GOOD LOCATION ALTHOUGH QUITE A DISTANCE INTO BANGKOK ON BUS NOT SO REGULAR.

a little expensive compared to others in the area. It was a bit noisy due to its location. Also i had a disagreement with the staff about the free water available in the rooms. It wasnt made clear that there are 2 kinds of free water, the branded water is not free, the Rikka Inn water is free, however upon my arrival there was no Rikka water, so I assumed the water provided was free, this caused some problems upon check out. there hotel should make it more clear which water is free.

We stayed at Rikka Inn at the end of a 6 week trip and couldn't have been happier. Going from a beach hut filled with bugs and other critters to a clean, lively hotel in the heart of all the craziness was a perfect way to finish our trip. The staff were very helpful and the rooftop pool was a dream come true when the mid-afternoon heat started to get to us. Our room was small but clean and ear plugs kept us from being bothered by any noise.

Good location. Also stayed in kosan palace next door but that was too loud. Rikka windows double glazed so better if you want an early night. 7/11 next door. Pool nice. 20 baht to keep bags in storage. Not worth the money but better than paying £5 for a hostel with rats and ladyboys.

In the middle of Khoasan Road, so very noisy, but nightlife is on your doorstep. Nice pool on the 7th floor.

Great location, great price, staff was helpful and it was clean. No complaints. Yet, if you're looking for a quiet place, this wouldn't suite you. I didn't mind the noise though.
