At this time of year your not going for a Party, Great place to base yourself to see the island for what it is. I can only imagine what a great place it is through out the summer. Good location just up from the town.

In the summer this hostel probably rocks with parties. The common area is amazing and there is a huge patio. In the off-season, though, it is literally abandoned. The receptionist, a sleazy Italian, cares much more about running the family restaurant than manning reception or even answering the number that he posts there to call when he isn't there. DVD player broken; Internet flakes out regularly. The father lives there. Towels and laundry quite expensive. Awful Breakfast.

Very strangely run hostel..the walls are covered in messages from past occupants who seemed to have had a blast but it felt like the hostel had been completely abandoned after summer ended! No reception, no security, strange man who let himself in at night and helped himself to free beds..very odd. The kitchen was useless, however the location is pretty great and the other roomies were awesome.Probably much better in summer but neglected in the low season. Make sure you call before you arrive.

Very nice place to stay! I met great people and had tons of fun, even though I stayed just for 2 nights! The staff is excellent and there for you; it's a truly Italian place in every way. They take you to the family restaurant in the nearby village, where you can taste typical yummy homemade food and enjoy your time with the rest of the people staying at the hostel. I totally reccommend it, even though you can't expect more than what a low-budget hostel can offer you. Great position! A+++

Fabulous Hostel, really great crowd, lovely location and nice to stay somewhere it Italy that still felt Italian and employed local people. Some great places nearby and you can have a great stay in Ischia for really little cash - ask the guys where to get the best pizza it is only 5 minutes away and will cost you about 4 euros.

It would be a great place to stay if you either 1. spoke Italian, maybe the staff would be able to talk to you and help you more. 2. came with a friend(s). The hostel did not have wifi and is extremely basic it was only the people who i met there that made it good. the toilets are a bit dodgy tho.

This was my favorite hostel of the trip! The people here are fantastic - very welcoming and fun. The restaurant was AMAZING; the best food I'd had my entire Europe trip! The beach location, roof terrace, and location was great as well. So willing to make your trip the best and unforgettable! My only complaint would be the weird showers (no dividers between the toilet and shower = one BIG lake mess!!
