this hostel was great as far as location and the accomodation itself...however there simply isnt any staff present to answer your questions as they have 3 other hotels and a restaurant..if you have researched everything and dont require any questions answered, then stay here for sure...the hot water is sketchy at best and sometimes the system has to be reset, so if there's no staff there to do it, no shower...other than this it was a great place...and Marte Maria is the nicest staff person there

An absolute phenomenal place to stay, so clean, hot, hot water, sunny patios and terrace with hammock and fuzz ball! Breakfast included...sometimes consisting of quail eggs and homemade jams!! The freshest bed linen, all in the heart of Forio up a gorgeous little cobbled street, a few minutes walk from the Port. But what really makes this place special are the people! family owned, you feel at home, not at a hostel! I'd definitely go back!! Love!!

I was the only person staying in the entire hostel, so i cant really comment on the atmosphere! They were doing in between spring cleaning when i was there so there was clutter everywhere and it was a little dirty. Couldn't get wifi on the second floor which kinda sucked. Overall I feel like I cant really judge the place since it felt like it was shut down over the spring, I would recommend staying in another hostel in low season.

Very nice spot! I had only booked one night but ended up staying 3 (and would have stayed longer if my schedule allowed). The family and staff are so friendly and hospitable. Once you orientate yourself with the tiny roads leading to the hostel you find the location is very central to everything! Ischia is a lovely island and there is way more to do there than I ever expected. I ate one night at the family restaurant - highly recommended! Definately try the homemade lemonchello made by Papa Sal!

Would recommend this place to any traveller on a budget. The staff is extremely helpful and know the island very well. If you are planning on staying in Ischia make sure it is at least for 2 or 3 nights in order to experience all it has to offer.
