Very basic so you get what you pay for. Bed bugs still seem to be around. Good location near Chinatown. Very quiet when I stayed there.

Very good for its price. Location is ok. The owner - Howard is very helpful and friendly. I would suggest this hostel to anyone to Melaka. Nevertheless, Melaka is a disappointment.

This is a very poor hostel by my relatively low standards! Its very far to the centre and the shopping malls, but close to the most pathetic china town ive ever seen! Staff were busy! But he was ok and had a good heart. The place good do with a massive spring clean, maybe removing some of the bugs and general dirt! Probably wouldnt stay there again.

Ringo\'s was a great place to stay except for the BEDBUGS in the dorm room \'7Up\'! Over like 80 bites that are itching like hell right now. Staff was super helpful when they were around, which was not always. Lockers that didn\'t lock and no key for dorm room, but location was great and DVD player and roof top were nice. The staff didn\'t know as much as they let on, and getting a bus late at night to KLIA should be done with lots of time to spare and with the aid of a taxi to Sentral.

Mixed views on Ringos and I think what you pay for you get is the best way to describe it. When I arrived I had to spend 15 mins before someone let me in, the manager took another 45 mins to arrive. Dorms were out of use due to bed bugs(at least it was being dealt with) so ended up with a double room. It did seem to always smell damp - I know in the middle of wet season this is to be expected but was constantly strong smell. It was easy to meet others as dinner was arranged each evening for all.

This hostel is very quiet, even tho they said more people would be coming to liven it up. We did extend our stay here due to cheapness and made use of the DVD facilities extensively. Free internet and the guy was kind and welcoming, even took us to the food court and showed us the local cuisine! Ringos is good for a few days to see the city which is all you need.

Walking to Ringo\'s at midnight was not the best experience - the area was a tad too dark. BUT, things got really different once I met Howard, the owner. He made me felt like a friend instantly and subsequently it was all pure fun. The rooms are basic and you have to bear with the cold showers. Pros and cons, I personally enjoy Howard\'s hospitality and I receive much more than a room could offer and I definitely would return!
