Quite frankly, this was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, and I do not say that lightly. I booked for two nights, which quickly turned into an impromptu week. The facility was immaculate. The owner always knew where the party was (even on nights the average traveler thought was "dead") and if there wasn't anything spectacular going on, he would bump music videos, and we would play beer pong to the wee hours of the morning. Location was perfect. Staff exceedingly pleasant. Def return

I liked Ringside alot because of its fun friendly atmosphere and great staff that make the most out of your stay! Jordan and Paul take you around the island showing you the best beaches! Nice cheap AC rooms with new beds! Easy scooter hire! Great Parties with Beerpong even when its not fullmoon, always know where to go! Very good for Muay Thai Boxing at the Kobra Gym too! I defo recommend it coz i had the best stay and i'll be back for shure :)

I had a really good time at Ringside!!

Had a great stay, nice staff and jordan the owner showed me around the island which was very nice. Besides that the hostel is very clean and they just bought new beds so that made my stay very comfortable.

There wasn't a social area for the hostel guests and was taxi distance to anywhere you wanted to visit. The room was spacious and clean with air con and a fan however the beds felt unsafe and there were no blinds so the light shone through from early morning. Lockers were provided if you want at a cost of 100b. You could put your drinks etc on a tab which was handy for some people.

Spent a week at Ringside and would definately reccomend it!! The staff couldnt do enough for you, sorted us out with whatever we wanted, even turned into a doctor for us on a number of occations. Great vibe every night, very clean, cheap and safe. A bit away from Haad Rin but i would say that this is perfect for a Full Moon party stay, we loved the fact that we were out of the way a bit and there is a sick resort and beach just over the road from Ringside which helps as well. Thanks a lot!

Location is good, a 5 minutes walk to a shallow beach perfect for sunbathing. Bathrooms are clean and dorms as well. I had a wonderful welcome but I was a bit sad that they don't allow you to bring alcohol from outside and they push you to play beerpong everynight so they can keep there bar running. So far good place keep it up guys !

This is a great hostel to stay in for the half-moon party. It's clean, 2 minutes from the beach and the owner/staff are really helpful and make you feel welcome! Every night a few people gather around the tables out the front of the hostel and they play music/movies, so it's easy enough to meet people and socialise. Only downsides (and these are minor) are that it has no laundry service and no food...decent bar though!

I can imagine this is a great and supersocial hostel around the fullmoon/half moon parties - but anything inbetween and its pretty much dead (if your looking to party party, I mean, and I think that's true of most of Koh Phangan, not just here!). For chillaxing it's great at those times though - and it's across the road from a resort with a pool (that hosts rhythm and sands) and that's free to use and on the beach itself - which is great and just next to a really beautiful one too.

Hostel is off the track, so to reach the famous beaches and areas you either have to rent a scooter or grab a taxi all time. Only one bathroom per floor - which results in 10 guests per bathroom. The drain in the first bathroom was blocked and not fixed in two days although I asked twice. Neither were the bathrooms cleaned at all during this time, disgusting. Bunk beds are more than shaky and weak, if you turn in bed you wake up the other person. Had to change rooms in between/unorganized.

A good little place to stay for the moon parties. 'A' who works there is a good guy, gets beer pong started most nights. Security isn't great, the doors stay unlocked all the time so anyone could walk in but there are small lockers enogh for your valuables. The 8 bed dorm stay cool enough with all the fans provided. The shower was average, the toilet was blocked for a day which was only one downside I can think of. Only 2 mins walk from the beach and 10 mins (100b) in a taxi to Haad Rin beach.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, and easily the best hostel i've stayed at in southeast asia. It's an extremely friendly atmosphere and you'll feel apart of a small family within the first day. Perfect for the solo traveler.

By far this is the best place I've ever stayed in. I stayed for one week, crazy week. Half moon with everyone of the hostel was so much fun! I love Ringside. I'll be back.

Cool place, clean, with great staff

My favorite place I've stayed at thus far on my journey. The people I met made it unforgettable. Clean, friendly, great location..especially if you want to go see a muay thai fight! can't wait to come back for another stay.

Excellent place to stay for the full moon party as a solo traveller! Jordan the hostel owner always has really helpful advice. When he says the best Thai food in the island he is not kidding! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to do the full moon party right.

I loved my stay here. The owner is a very friendly and genuine person! Great hostel for meeting people. There is a bar and before parties paint is provided. Nothing bad to say about this place! Plus for the price I was very satisfied!
