Rio Aplauso Hostel has its headquarters in an old mansion that belongs to Cultural Tour and the Historical-Artistic patrimony of Rio de Janeiro. We are located in the center of the city, just one block of Arcos da Lapa and Santa Teresa.
In just ten minutes from the hostel guest arrives at Santos Dumont Airport, the Marina da Gloria and Vivo Rio. The location is perfect for those who wants to enjoy the most exciting nights in Rio, with nightclubs of the most varied musical styles.
Around the hostel we have the most famous houses of samba, bars, restaurants, cultural centers and our wonderful Municipal Theater. We are just 10 minutes from the subway Cinel�ndia, making it easy for guest access to beaches and Maracan� Stadium.
We offer transfer (at least 4 ppl) from the airport to the hostel and also transfer to shows and events.
We offer great accommodations and a delicious breakfast buffet.

Our stay in Rio Aplauso was nice, we extended our stay from 2 night up to 5 night in total:-) Breakfast is good here, staff is friendly, location excelent, if you wanna be close to the centre. Anyway everything is reachable by bus in Rio. only thing what we found strange here is the fact that hostel has a rule no let you bring any drinks froum outside. All drinks must be bought here. This is kind of strange rule what we have never experienced in hostel. Anyway the place is overall good!
